PES 2010 DEMO Review (Format)

Dear PES friends..

I’m at work for now, even I was at home, I’d be waiting for PSN to upload the demo.. So here are a lot of people as me.. We are just willing to learn something for the game.. So Let us puts our reviews here.. Please who has the game on PC or 360 write your review here.. I’m listing a bunch of q s please reply to them by numbering. The format that you will use:

1- game speed? Slower than Pes 09?
2- 360 Dribbling.. Did u notice the difference, if yes how does it work?? Does it make the game harder??
3- Graphics… is it that awesome as everyone who played it claims??
4- Gameplay… Is it harder??
5- Cameras … Did u notice any new camera angle?
6- New animations… Have you seen any in-game animations?
7- New tricks.. Can you take any new tricks?? If yes , are they really helpful or only visual as Fifa?
8- GIVE a score for the demo (?/10)
9- IS the king really back?????

1- I didn't notice any real difference in speed moves still seem to go at 100mph.
2- I didn't notice any considerable difference either except that the turning felt a lot smoother.
3- The graphics are certainly the big plus point all of the players look great and the grass looks a lot better also.
4- Didn't feel much harder to me so far I could still score decent goals even on top player, the cpu did seem to throw themselves into blocks more frequently though.
5- No just the same standard cameras.
6- I noticed one when running when you double tap the direction you are running they put one foot on the ball then touch it forward with the other.
7- They didn't seem extremely helpful but i'm sure they can be when used in the right situation
8- I'd only give the demo a 6/10 maybe 7 at a push
9- Not a chance, it's still nowhere near a Simulation as it used to be far too arcadey still.

Definitely slower!
The ball feels way heavier and there is a definite lag when controlling a player.

2- 360 Dribbling.. Did u notice the difference, if yes how does it work?? Does it make the game harder??

As players react slowly, counter driblings are still effective, but the game is more jerkier, more crowded, so dribling is used with less frequency.

3- Graphics… is it that awesome as everyone who played it claims??

Didn't notice a lot... but I'm the kind of guy that only starts notice those things after a while.

4- Gameplay… Is it harder??

Hard to say...
It's definitely different from 09...

5- Cameras … Did u notice any new camera angle?

Just 3 cameras in the demo. The same old 3.

6- New animations… Have you seen any in-game animations?

Lots of them... Almost every move seems to have a new animation...

7- New tricks.. Can you take any new tricks?? If yes , are they really helpful or only visual as Fifa?

Haven't tried them yet... didn't even knew there were new tricks.

8- GIVE a score for the demo (?/10)

So far 8/10, with the demo fixers for time and everything else I'd give it a 9/10.

9- IS the king really back?????

Hard to say at the moment...
Despite his flaws I really liked 09...
Realism is heavier on 10, but how much did it cost to everything else that was working fine in 09? That's my main concern right now.

^Hard to decide at the moment.
BVoth fifa and pes demos have some defending errors which are not small, and both fifa and pes can be annoying in some other parts of the AI.
Fifa for BAD AI DEFENCE position
Pes for bad defensive errors.

It's easy. PES 4 and 5 were brilliant, PES 6 on the PS2 or PC was outstanding and ridiculously playable. Since then it's been garbage, so my interpretation of the guys question 'Is the king really back?' meant, is it the PES of old we all knew and loved. The answer, quite simply, is no it's not.

Agree with his totally, although I don't think Fifa is the king either, neither one is that great to me, need a new football game from a new GOOD developer.

Seeing as the guy's had his questions answered by a few people already, I'm going to close this one. It's not as if he can't read up on everyone's views in the other thread.
