and after trying out the FIFA demo, wow, what a different world that is... even graphics, FIFA 10 has rain soaked jerseys... and the gameplay, maybe not as meaty as PES before, but PES now has lost that meatiness and becoming what FIFA has abandoned 2-3 games before. I cannot describe the disappointment. Everyone around me is praising FIFA like it's the ultimate king...

I understand the emotional disapointment of pes being a let down again. On the other hand whats the point in being disapointed when fifa 10 has the potential to be the best football game ever made. I say this because it seems like you were praising fifa.

I'm not accusing anyone else of this but i used to have a fanboy attitude where as now i just play the best football sim, and for me that is fifa although i still think pes has its strengths. In my opinion this is the most exciting time in the history of football games, this is coming from someone who has an unhealthy obsession especially in pes's hey day on the ps2

its posts like this that get me angry at some pes fans in real football keepers can catch the ball, and your team mates make runs off the ball and there is no lead balloon sounding ball

but apart from that demo is nice patiently waiting BAL

Sorry, I did not mean to overpraise fifa, as I always thought FIFA gaming sucked. Until I saw the demo.... i have to face reality now.
I guess many PES fans are confused, but I still have hope and wishing that the final code will be somewhat redeeming. I really tried to follow the PES fans who think PES 10 is "perfect" or "amazing", but really, we have to be honest and tell Konami there are areas that need urgent attention. Sigh.... I don't know what else to say. I saw the latest video, and even the injury cut scenes and the angry player getting the yellow or red card are all the same from PES 09. I have not seen one very new injury animation, unless I missed it.

The 2 main problems with PES are that Seabass has probably never played football at a decent level, and that you can't say his name without saying 'ass'.
