[PC] PES 2009 SMoKE Patch 1.7

New bugs noticed:

Bug update:

At Konami Cup knock out or group stage game freezes at 1st match.

I have a ATI Radeon ASUS 3650 agp and ATI Catalist 9.9 hotfix

I tried drivers,install patch again,save file replacement from back up working one but still problem exists.

I really love your patch can you help me?

From 10 times 9times it wont work and 1time it will

New bugs noticed:

1. when you are at menu -press start- or main menu and you ll leave it for few sec a loading screen will appear to show a demo match logically, but it doesn't,it's forever stucked and then u have to restart pc.

2. Konami cup at group stage if you put 32 different teams then after you proceed at 1st match and you take a look at groups you ll see randomly a team twice.

3. Sometimes konami cup crashes on 1st match at kick off screen, the game freezes and PC freezes also.

Any idea?

Mr. Smoke i want to tell you, you have the best pes patch all over internet, and i would like to suggest you to remove some of the teams from middle east championships.

If not can you tell me the way and the tool i must use to make for example a team from saudi arabia to make her a national team and move it to europe section.

but i have a problem, when i finish the first season at master league (entering the negotations weeks) my game crashes. What should i do?

there were some crash reports, but i tried a lot of saves some ppl sent to tsccenter and the saves did not crash when i tested in the patch 1.7.5

just a small detail, but i just played LA Galaxy and their white jerseys are so white you can't even see the numbers in their back. it looks like they are in a pure white jersey.

when up close on replays you can see better detail. just saying... maybe you can outline the numbers more so they have better detail.

maybe it is just me

hi guys, i need your help, i have a very big problem installing the patch although i followed the instructions step by step. the problem is that the (C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\save) folder is empty, so i can replace nothing

the save folder in the patch contain one folder, should be copied in the save folder of the game in the directory you mentioned (even if there was no file to replace)


the patch 1.7.5 is ready, the champ EX is ready and now finishing the Eredivisie EX to release all together.

i dont know why this happened, but you can conceder that he got the korean nationality

what you get should not happen, MAYBE you started the save BEFORE installing the patch, in that case it could not be done because the save have its own data.

i coulding install kitserver i got a message "the the exe file does not look as a pes2009" so what sould i do??

copy the exe from the patch and replace the ones in the game folder then try installing kitserver

National Teams

Hi I noticed that some national teams have others kits (e.g. Venezuela have the kit of Iran, Morocco have the kit of Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago have the kit of Uruguay). I re-installed PES and still have the same problem. Is there any way to fix it by my own ?

download and install the fix (link at first page), it will fix the kits thing

yup your absolutely right. Didnt want to restart my BAL career. So everytime i chang Smoke patch(1.5 to 1.7) my team mates in BAL will change. So i guess theres no work around huh? Get the correct team mates while still able to continue my BAL career?

that was because there was a new option file done in the 1.7, so players ID have changed, but the upcoming 1.7.5 is based on the same OF of the 1.7 so installing the 1.7.5 will allow you to continue saves that was started with the 1.7.

i do recommend starting a new BAL career to benefit all new stuff.

Also the transfer rate is set to normal, but some teams (ex. Bayern) nearly traded the whole team(!)?
And some minor error: if you save a replay, the teams will appear with wrong kit when you view it.

as mentioned in the trouble shooting file included in the patch:

set the quality to medium or high, if not then go to cv09.img folder in kitserver and delete that stadium. (u will get the default one instead when u delete stadium files).

teams in other B cannot be used in ML, total teams that can be used in other A is 66, when i added more the game exe crashes.

this happens only if you started the save with another version than the 1.7, when you start a new mode with the 1.7 and classics are not selected you will never see them.

i started with a fresh install of PES and installed your mod. started a new ML from scratch with classic players turned off yet i still see them in other teams in ML as well as in the transfer market

there was a file in the old patch 1.6 that missed up some things, but in the 1.7 that file was fixed, you are the only one that reported this problem in the 1.7, be sure that the old files in cv02.img folder are all deleted and the new files are in that folder.

Hey Mr. Smoke,
bug update:

1st. For the problem about konami cup stucking at 1st match the problem was:
i had the ATI Radeon 3650 AGP which was getting temperature of 61c and crashing when VGA was at her limits.
Now i have a 9400GT PCI express and vista as i changed PC and problem dissapeared so it was just my VGA

2nd. New bug discovered now i have vista and not when i had XP, fans arent shouting when a goal is scored, and you can only hear few of the fan singing, like they are only few ppl in stadium

And plz can you tell me a program to move teams from one group to other,
example from Others A to move it to Europe (national)
