ABout fifa skilled dribbling? What's so special? The defenders can still take the ball easily. But a great addition nonetheless. Still pes has some other things which fifa hasn't got.

Sorry gonna have to disagree.
It does have individuality, certainly more this year, probably not better than pes in that aspect.
More options in custom tactics, I dont know where pes fans get this idea the tactics in fifa mean nothing, the high defensive lines are fucking annoying at times, but the actual tactics work, it took me a while to fine tune my formation and it makes a difference.
Example, my barca team was a bit blunt going forward because we werent making enough interchaging runs from midfield, as a result ibra was isolated alot upfront.
Went into custom tactics and Changed the chance creation meter towards 'risky' which means you players will break position more often to join up in attacks...it seems to have worked.
Shooting from distance, you can do it in fifa, i aint that good at it yet though, especially if isnt finesse shot.
Thats my opinion anyways, game aint perfect, there are a few annoying things which need patching, but the game is nutz at times, despite the truck loads of complaints its won alot of praise from pes die hards yet again and once again pretty much accepted as THE football game on consoles, and PES aint even out yet.

Hold R2 or L1 + R1 when dribbling, king of like skill dribble. Hold R2 when defending = jockeying

Heres an example, but not on a forum. BTW This is true:
I was in college about to attend my Business class. A group of my mates where talking about FIFA10, so I joined in the conversation.
After talking about how good the game seems is this year, I decided to mention that PES too is very good this year.
Then one of my mates decided to randomly say 'PES is shit'.
The others agreed.
I was OK with that though, because it is there own opinion.
But what I was'nt happy with is what happened next:
Me: So have you downloaded the PES2010 or the WE2010 demo?
My Friends: No.
This is what really pissed me off.
My mates have not even tried the PES2010. This is what really pisses me off....
How can you say a game, any game, is sh*t before you have even played it.....
It's complete and utter bullcrap...
I was raging in anger after they all said they have'nt played the PES Demo.
Then I asked:
Me: How can you say PES2010 is sh*t even before you have played it?
My friends: Because it is.
Me: Thats not a proper answer....
My friends: It's because PES does'nt have all the kits and names.
How can you say a football game is better because it has 'all the kits'!
OK, tottaly happy with them getting FIFA because it has kits and names, but using that as a reason to say PES is sh*t? No, it's not a proper answer.
This is why I don't like FIFA Fans that much. OK, I have respect and everything.
But do FIFA Fans have as much respect for us PES Fans? No, they don't.
OK I'm going to stop now....lol
But I hope you all understand what I mean...

Really, ive never seen proper jockeying in pes before, come on now, maybe ill remember this if i get pes 10 soon.
You like fifa or pes, thats fine by me, but the proper jockeying is in fifa, you dont even need to press a button to tackle players, you can run alongside them if your player is physically strong and move them off the ball then retireve it.
System aint perfect but its one of those things you sort of cant go without after a while, but thats my opinion.

But like you said, it’s stupid. You have another example there of a very 'intelligent' conversation with a bunch of stubborn, obnoxious twats. It’s like you can't even mention Pes, whereas most people on this forum are happy to talk about both games, and it is usually a constructive and sensible discussion.....

As for individuality. I explained this in the other thread. Basing on the demos though.
Fifa 10 demo has more individuality than fifa 09. But pes 09 had better individuality than fifa 10 demo, and now pes 10 demo with all the cards and stuff, the individuality is boosted greatly. So pes 10 has much better individuality than pes 09. So even though fifa improved in this aspect, it hasn't even began to reach pes' in that aspect.
As for tactics and stuff. They used to work in fifa 09 for me, but not how I liked. In pes 10 demo it's better and you can see the difference aswell when applying different slider numbers. Basically the tactics in pes 10 demo has taken a huge step up from pes 09 and they really do work.
As for shooting. I really like fifa's finesse shots (not the glitch though or whatever it is) but the power shots are joke. I am watching the Juve match (sadly loosing to palermo) and Cavani scored an amazingly powerful shot without running at full speed. something which cannot be done in fifa 10 demo or at least, not like that.
Now ofcourse, I'll probably like both games when I get them.

Cool, i think you can score those kind of goals, ive scored similar goals already with T. Henry, but ill re evaluate next time i play fifa.
Cos i saw the last hour of the palermo juve game so i saw cavani's goal last night.
Ps. Ferrara is a joke and so are juve, fucking taking diego off and not bringing on giovinco, they should have also have kept miccoli years ago.
Ill tell you a secret, ive followed italian football since age 7, and am a supporter of serie A and italy, problem with italian football is, the clubs and national team will not give the young players the break they deserve, its a disgrace, montolivo, giovinco, cassano, miccoli, mabye even players like rosina should have been given real chances ages ago. Actually i would even consider taking ballotelli to the WC.
Italy is obssessed with fucking old players, that why we aint winning anything until we get them out.

Ill put our jokes aside for now and tell you that I completely agree with you.
I also think that many Italian stadiums need to change. Or completely rebuilt. New stadiums are needed.
BTW -- ( this is for anyone ) Am I the only that gets the feeling that Lippi is a bit racist maybe? Or at least not as open minded as he should be? I think Amauri should get a chance and definitely Balotelli. Balotelli is the future for Italy I believe.

"PES sucks because they don't have the proper kits",i really thought that we were past that era but obviously not.
but they are the ones loosing out on the best football gaming experience that money can buy so their loss not ours.

As for FIFA fans, they are rabid at some fundamental flaws in the game that are just stupid to be in there.
Trust me, I'm sure a lot of these "PES Haters" would love nothing more than PES2010 to succeed in being the better game, after all, don't we just want a great football game?
