Ofcourse not. The WE demo is a more finished build than the pes demo. But it's still a build meaning there are more things to be added to the final game + some final touches too.

simply put i couldnt care less about fifa, made the change tp pes about 5-6 years ago aint looked back.
just to build on what we said in previous threads (that i can no longer find) where i say that the demo is like 80% complete and some people said retail will be 100x better:

So basically WE demo is virtually the finished thing gameplay wise...and when u do a blindfold is the PES or WE demo and realise the difference is somewhat notable it is not a gulf - so expecting the final product to be something else completely compared to the demo is .. well... fanciful imo.

What is it with FIFA fans and this 'skilled dribbling' bullshit? Its another one of those 'cool' sounding additions that desperate people want to hear.
People always bash pes when it comes to animations and rightfully so. But they grow on you. After a week or so you dont even notice it tbh.
And I think maybe that PES has more animations than FIFA...maybe not as smooth but I certainly think that they are both up there in terms on NUMBER of animations.
BTW -- Played FIFA10 retail version. Not at all impressed. I like the PES demo much better.
I had friends over we played FIFA for about 2 hours. Solid fun with buddies. The game is shit when you play against the A.I. It has the intelligence of a table leg. Thank EA for their solid online or this game would be done for it.
Anyway, we finished the night playing the PES demo for about 4 hrs. Couple of my FIFA fans said they not only enjoyed playing PES but enjoyed watching others play. Its so unpredictable.

The argument was the pes demo being 80% not the WE demo.
As I said the we demo is more complete and btw,, he didn't specify how was it in the build he played. So that quote can't be used.
Oh and also, everyone who played the review code (90%) said that it is even better than the we demo. Also saying that small things make differences in gameplay. So yes, francis is still right that the final product is based on the WE demo. But based on something doesn't mean that it's gonna be the same because as I said, small touches make a difference. Look at response between WE AND PES demos. That example alone made the WE demo much superior to pes demo.
yea good point but as i said small touches and i think i used the word; 'tweak's do not make a game 100x different no matter how you look at it.
i understand that the final game will NOT just be the WE demo with more teams.. but its not going to be hugely different either. this is the point i tried to get across then and again now.
the gameplay may be marginally different; keepers ad through balls might be tweaked. but then again, they might be the same:/
If you didnt like the gameplay in the demo, or if more than the keepers and through balls made your life a misery, then the final game may dissapoint for you too.
i am just trying to stop the hyperbole and people from thinking the final game will be different from the WE demo, when infact it wont be much different at all... simply tweaked..

The WE demo managed to get some people waiting for pes 10 back again because it's better than the pes demo.
But look deeper. What does it have better actually?
Players responding for the ball for example.
Look at the difference it made to the gameplay and it was a small touch.
Some small touches make a difference that influences the whole game.

You make a very good point. After playing the initial PES demo i was not impressed and thought here we go again its another failure by Konami on Next-gen.
But the WE demo grabbed me and reminded me of why PES used/still is the most exciting and unpredictable fottie game out there. TBH there have only been a few small touches addded to the WE demo but these make a HUGE difference. By the time the final game build is out there will be a few more ''tweaks'' that will make the game even better..
Personally after playing the WE demo i cannot wait. I honestly think PES is a few animations away from dominating the next-gen era like it did in on the current gen consoles..
i am, the difference between the 2x demos is noticeable but not huge. i dont play one, cry, then play the other and say WOW to myself!
infact my pes mate couldnt really tell the difference except it was slightly faster overall...
so to assume that final will be a sparkling huge advancement from the WE demo is just fanciful.

^For the last time. Not huge advances, but small touches that make the overall game better. There's a difference. The pes demo especially feels incomplete but so is the WE demo. So by the time pes is released, it'll be more based on the WE demo (because it's more finished than the pes demo) but with little tweaks that make the game better.
For example those who played the 90% build (much more finished than the we demo) said that even through balls are finer and better and graphics were more polished.
These are the little tweaks that make the game better.
And also, you have to play the WE demo more to noticed what I'm talking about.

Tech Skill if you came on here and said PES 2010 is better I dont know what I would do lol but how does the CPU cheat it doesn't have scripting does it?

To be honest peeps everybody has there own opinion and preferences but i am a die hard PES fan ever since. I have had a few good times with Fifa, but speaking frankly i think Fifa is for kids. Its well polished and kiddiefied. PES is more in depth and rewarding and is not all about Graphics. I c people on here cussing Pes 2010 and its not even released yet, this just goes to show how immature these Fifa boys are. I am in good spirits though cause i think PES 2010 is gonna blow everybody away. ROLL ON PES 2010

you have that the wrong way around - fifa is now the real football fans choice. Look at all the reviews in the press
