Fifa 10

The online play is wonderful when I don't get disconnection problems with EA and/or PSn, I'm really getting used to the shooting now, at first it was very hard to score but getting the hang of it now.

Taking your Virtual Pro online is very good (there are quitters all over the globe but hey, what can you do?) and the Fifa Interactive World Cup is fun too.

Obviously Fifa's version of Master League is the Manager Mode but I haven't played it much, the main attraction (for me) is online.

You still haven't got the game yet!? What are you waiting for? :shocking:

Manager Mode is quite awesome in my opinion, I like the master league, but I prefer that Manager Mode is more like real life.

It's missing a youth team that's in PES10 (I think), but apart from that it's a-okay. You need to upgrade your scouts to get more accurate analysis on scouted players, for example, your scouts at 5 stars will rate a player between 56 and 78, so in essence you could be signing on a player with a rating of 56... But a scout rating of 10 stars will lessen that gap to say, 72 and 78, or even less.

There's also the option of bumping up your coaches in each area (GK, DF, MID, FWD) so that each of the players in the position gain more experience from games.

I just played online and beat Liverpool 2-0 as Arsenal. Scored a nice free-kick with RVP. Arsenal's formation is so good.

Arsenal are probably one of the better teams in the game, even though they're only 4.5 stars.

The game's 'collision' system pisses me off at times, especially when Drogba etc get thrown off the ball, its ridiculous. Puyol seems to be the strongest man in the world as well...

Yes, this annoys the hell out of me. Drogba shouldn't be pushed off the ball by that damn mop headed weakling. It's never happened in real life, so it shouldn't happen in the game.

I've had a worse situation than someone like Puyol throwing Drogba off the ball.

Ashley Cole bullied Ronaldo off it. EA have a good idea with the collision system, just needs some fixing that's all :)

I'm really liking this game. Headers feel a bit hit & miss though. It might be due to me still using the D pad.

Once you practice, headers are quite easy, i win 8/10 defensive headers online with my VP who is 5'10. Attacking headers are different though, i seem to aim away from the goal

Pretty decent, I'm quite bad at 1v1's but I didn't know I was that bad  That lay-off free-kick you scored with Wendel was just :w00t

You played very well, it wasn't like I played particularly poor, you were just too good.

I'll try and stay away from you, for the time being, as I've evidently got some practising to do :ninja:

Am I th eonly one who thinks different sized pitches would have a brilliant effect on how you go about your football game? Narrower pitches, not as much wing play etc
