Version 1.5 is almost here

1stly id like to say from myself and Cowson..

Thanks for all the help, support and donations as its much appreciated..

Id also like make a special mention to all the people on the premade memory card list.
Response and demand was too great so my local shop couldnt meet demand...

I have had to order in bulk from a main supplier and half the stock came last week and he rest tomorrow so everyone who has been patiently waiting for their memory card should have it very soon..

I have been frustrated because of the memory card situaton so rather than just sit there and wait, myself and cowson have been working hard at V1.5 for the memory card people.

As soon as all the memory cards are sent and recieved then we can release V1.5 as its only fair they get something for waiting a little longer than expected.

Those that helped with info for example lists of fake names to correct etc.. we both salute you.. even those that have waited to help with the championship we both salute you too..

Myself and Cowson have developed a structured routine that allows us to create teams almost like in a packing factory and the clever rotation is working very well indeed..

We cant give you a definate timscale on V2 with the Championship just yet but once we have completed a few more teams we will let you know.. in the mean time please enjoy V1.5 when its released very soon..

For Version 2

Remaining 18 team slots will be for the championship teams plus all currentreated emblems will be given a fresh coat of paint.

All Championship teams will have emblems or badges on the shirts but the 1st 11 Championship clubs will have a main emblem.

Great news on this you guys are the dons, but i think someother OF creator has taken your base at V.1 and done the Championship on the Lge B, so would you guys consider doing the BundesLeague instead? It just seems that it makes sense to have two versions offering what different people want, instead of two offering the same thing. WDYT?

Well in his defence fair play to him and its a free world so if he is only trying to bring more joy to the masses then go ahead..

I cant stop people from jumping onto 75 hours of editing with an option for donation.

Im always confident with our work as quality speaks for itself and ive found that people really do appreciate all the hard work and quality that has gone into it all.

He has actually asked to help as have many others and what myself and cowson had said to everyone was to wait and let us finish what were were doing (v1.5) before we start anything.

Then because myself and Cowson are the central point we could distribute the work for all 18 teams between any helpers..

Last thing mate. When this Konami update comes, possibly this week, well hopefully, will it overwrite your OF?

Will it be ok to apply the Konami patch to the game and then apply your new improved OF over the top of it.


Oh and this really is the last thing. Did you get to have a look at tweaking the teams attacking capabilites because they are quite boring and dont try to score a lot of the time, even when they are behind?!

Can you remember when I was talking about editing the teams so they became more attacking? There are quite a few about it now on different forums and here is one guys experimenting with editing the attacking style on PesFan. Please see the link below

I like the game but it is far from perfect and the computer AI needs to be better to make Master League more interesting

You don't need v1 to run v1.5.

We are not sure yet what the Konami update will erase so only time will tell. Will have to test it when the update is here.

As for the release of v1.5..... coming soon, thats all we can say.

Respect for your work, didn't mean to cut you so deep, just thought it was a shame that there was no variation i.e. Bundesleague or something. You should consider starting a player appearance thread here in the meantime.They were always good fun to do for the PS2 and definitely added to the overall enjoyment of the game.I'd start one myself but I'm useless at it haha, but I'm sure plenty of people would be willing to contribute.

True, but i don't wanna start a fire i can't control! Just had a Baby so can't dedicate as much time as would be required, what with people making requests and stuff. Plus cos Konami didn't put co-ordinates on the shape grids it makes it all harder when done in a forum. I think its pretty good, depending on the player i will revisit and amend several times before i consider it complete or the best i can get it. This will certainly be the case for anything i submit to Cowson.

you have to be able to step back sometimes and say.. ok thats enough..

also you have to weigh up the time it takes you too..

With players.. its sometimes luck of the draw.. you can almost get it perfect but some players out there just cant be created perfectly and as a result i tend to just keep it as close as possible and not dwell on it..

Sounds like good stuff your onto tho...

I downloaded (and donated of course!!) version 1.
what will happen to that when I put v2 on xbox? will it overrite it or do i need to delete v1 and put on V2 or do i put them both on xbox at same time?
