Why PES 2010 is still such a lousy game

1. Still no official kits and stadiums
-all the English teams have to be edited manualy, stupid teams like west midlands village, ajm rojo/blanco????

2. The diving function is still a mystery where it is impossible to dive properly. Even if you dive properly, the damn referee still books you. The tugging shirt move has been removed and diving has now been made impossible.

3. Graphics look fantastic, but the refeering system spoils the whole game. I have been playing this game hardcore on top player and i have not received any penalties yet. Every slide the opponent makes somehow is an successful one even from the back. This shit always happen, overshadowing the gameplay:no:

4.Online gameplay-nothing to say

With all these shit happening, when will PES ever overcome FIFA?

The core gameplay fucking spanks PES2010, but the manager mode right out of the box with no updates is just a fucking abortion, that shit should be condenmed for eternity.

For you fine, in terms of a realistic footballing challenge, pes aint even close, its so outdated and limited, in fifa there are more ways to pass, shoot, cross, and its tactical with proper midfield battles, much more advanced defending techniqies, the ai is far cleverer, game is played at a realistic pace, you could go on all day.

It is bugged, no question about it, but i have both games, and i can beat the CPU on top player on pes with little thought at all, no need to think about weight of passing, jossiling a player off the ball, finding space in a compact midfield, i just get the ball to eto and hold spint, and pes is real PING PONG football, keeping possession is a joke, just press 'A' about 60 times.

PES is just players wizzing about the pitch on crack cocaine, i wouldnt be surprised if amy whinehouse is cover star on pes2011.

2. The diving function last year was good as u could have a percentage chance of using it, they could have just left it there again this year.

Why are you moaning about there not being a diving function? do u really need this? I'm loving PES 2010! and I also have FIFA which I like, but it's not been near my 360 since PES 2010's release! I think people just moan for the sake of it! I have had no problems, I just play the Master League and love how they have changed it.

Plus I have done all the premier league team names, emblems and kits using my vision cam and they look really good!

the AI is smart on fifa 10?

Lol, let me tell you abut the AI on pes. one of the 1st goals i ever saw, was the CPU passing back to his own goalkeeper, the ball going though the keepers legs and in the goal, that tells you all you need to know about pes 2010.

Advanced defending tactics is the jossling techinique, you dont even need to press one of the key buttons to tackle in fifa. In pes, you run into the ball-holder holding down 'A', lmao. get real, its old and worn. This is why visually the game looks like paralympic football, its 22 zombies running into each other, then running towards goal, until someone runs into someone else, and they run towards goal

POT-KETTLE-BLACK: In pes any fucking team can play like barca, stankovic can sprint plast about 2/3 players with ease, and if you sit down and watch the telly and watch the players move on and off the ball, you'll realise that pes 2010 isnt even close to replicating that, PES is end to end, its like the midfield barley exisits.


Keep your opinion, im glad you like PES, off the pitch, it has some good things about it, on the pitch its fucking nasty, as a lifetime experience, its on a par with getting crabs.

^Skipping past defenders with stankovic? That's low level difficulty for sure. You can outrun the defender with stankovic on top player.
This pes vs fifa is an argument that will never end. So play what you think is more realistic. I know, both feel outdated. Compare them to assassins creed 2, modern warfare 2 or uncharted 2 and you know what I mean. But anyway both are good and both have different approaches towards football. So play what you like.
Also the english league is for EA until 2014 so stop moaning and do some editing. I have a 360 aswell and I did them (in pes 09 though) using vision cam and delete the background afterwards.

I agree with you. People just complain for the sake of complaining. If you don't like a game, move on. Why waste the time to complain about it? With a game like PES, they provide the editing features to change the game to your liking. If you don't want to take the time to learn/adjust the gameplay or download an option file or if you have done all of that and still don't like it, move on. Go back to FIFA or play a different genre.

I love the additions to Master League, have always loved the feel of PES gameplay, and have had to change my style-especially this year. I welcome me having to change because I feel it is more realistic gameplay.

Like I've said before, appreciate the fact that there are options (FIFA and PES). Those of us in the States are stuck with one American Football game and limited options for other sports because of licensing agreements. Competition is great for everyone involved because it pushes developers to improve their products (sometimes not to your specific liking) and no matter what anyone says on these boards, both FIFA and PES have their supporters and that's cool.
