Anyone want to play sometime tonight? Or now if you can?
Me, Original?, Gin & Delboy (Fab was on for the first game) were absolutely deadly last night! We must've scored like 20 goals in 3 games, it was just magical to be involved in. Original? and I scored some great goals, I was finishing everything with my head, he was curling the shots in from long-range, Delboy was crossing the balls in very well and Gin was solid as ANY, kept it tight at the back.
T'was awesome.
Then Jonno came on and cocked it all up...
I think it was 24 goals in around 205 minutes of game football as the opposition quit in the last two games, at 35 minutes and 80 minutes respectively. We did play some very nice football.
That first game was very good, though by this time I had scored my quota of goals for the night as it wouldn't let me finish regardless of what I did. Unfortunately, that trend continued into the second game. They were quite good and the match felt strangely realistic for a clubs match but we had done enough to get the win and were very unlucky not to.

And Fab, I know you created a new player, how did you do it? Does it overwrite your first player or can you alternate between? I'm considering creating a new player, a smaller man with more pace. But if it overwrites my current man, then I'm really not sure whether that's the right thing to do, as I've built this lad up for months and his all-round game is top class.
You saw yesterday, Original?, some of the through balls I was feeding you with.

I don't think Fab created a new player, I think he just changed the hair style.

Original? is right, my player had a haircut only, nothing else has changed.
Why would you want to create a new player anyway? You can edit the appearance of your current player to make him look new. You would be silly to delete your current player and make a new one, all you would be doing is losing your achievements which doesnt make sense.
PS. Good games again yesterday, well played. Solid and unbeaten!

Don't worry guys, i've set about beefing up my Virtual Pro by playing the be a pro season. Steadily improving my stats, the speed, acceleration and stamina are all improved by games played, MoM awards and so on, so hopefully, hopefully won't be too long before my VP isn't a cancerously slow cunt.

My internet didn't even disconnect, it's just PSN kicking me out every hour, for no apparent reason. I've only played FIFA online, so I'm not sure if it's some sort of confilict with the EA servers. I need to try out Uncharted online to see if I encounter the same issues.

Yeah, good point.
I think I did well with my 'new player', worked well when the balls were put over the top and was effective as my player now has the legs to catch up with it. Obviously, now he's 5'8'' (I believe that's his height currently) he doesn't have the strength, but now has strengths in other areas.
How many of us off school/college/work today because of the snow? Don't suppose you fancy some club matches now or later on?
That was fucking awful, honestly. They had a tap-in for 4-3 but we would have held out. Sake.

Can't be as bad as those three games at the end of last night, so fixed.
Christ, don't get me started.
Twice in one game I'm trying to play a simple short pass four yards to my right for you to tap the ball in. Instead, tapping X seems to give the effect of playing a powerful low pass into the path of Jonno way over on the right.
Then there were the shots going in completely different directions to those which I'd pressed, occasions of being scythed down from behind without the opponent touching the ball and not even getting an advantage let alone a free-kick and various other incidents.
Yeah, they were exceptionally shite.
Finally found the setting when wondering how the hell I was meant to give them out.
