Really enjoyed that session we had, it was a pleasure to be part of . Think we all played very well, and some of the goals we were scoring were just breathtaking. The build-up play was excellent; everything was, to be honest.

That game against the team wearing Real Madrid kit was very tight and an interesting game, not had a tight game like that in ages. We stuck to our positions and played well, probably deserved the win.

We're definitely playing well at the moment lads. I don't mind playing on ANY when there's about 4 or 5 of us, I think I bring more crossing to the team.

That 4-1 last night was looking like it could end in embarassment for a while. That one it was squared to me and I missed - I thought it was going to Original and tried to back away, and when it did come to me I wasn't set for it and fucked up. Fortunately it didn't count for anything.

Yeah, I agree, this weekend it's been very enjoyable. We seem to be clicking together as a team, and I like playing in centre-mid. It's good now I know where we all like to play, and we're all getting on playing our own positions.

No worries Barn; that first game we played all together, boy was that frustrating. But we had our shooting boots on all the other games (well I didn't :lol.

Barn, have you got a headset? If you haven't already, I say you should buy one, as I reckon having the mics on while playing makes it all the funner.

I think I play better when I've got the headset on, as I can communicate with Original?, Carlo, Gin, etc.. It's a laugh when we make mistakes though haha.

Abusing the other team can be fun too... even more so if they are a bunch of retards. :ninja:

We've definitely been playing well recently. Its a shame our unbeaten streak came to an end at 11 last night with that 5-4 defeat. Even at 4-2 up in the first half when we had a man sent off, you could sort of see it coming. Two of the three headers I had in that game glanced wide, so bloody annoying.

We should have been comfortable by the second half... but Gin had a moment of madness and we all knew how it was going to end then. I did think we were going to nick the draw at the end, we had a good attack with Phats on the ball... but I think his guy had run out of steam. Shame, we didn't deserve to lose even when we had the ten men.

I enjoyed playing In a CM role, preferably the defensive part as my VPs balance and response times arent yet up to scratch to be playing further up front in a swift break away. Allowed me to hover and come into the box late on, which is why I got 3 pretty decent headed goals from late runs.

Yeah, my guy was fucked. I did press cross but the defender pushed me off just in time. It's hard keeping your energy levels up when playing in midfield and even worse when you're trying to cover in defence due to 2 sendings off. I heard you - or was it gin? - telling Berry to fill in at CB but I'm not sure if he heard you as he seemed to still be playing CM. The fact that we have a lot of us on in one team at one time is helping a lot. Especially since we are all experienced now and know what we're doing. When we have fewer people on, we have more randomly generated players who are absolutely dire.

I should again emphasise that I play with the volume down so instructions to me via headset won't work. I'm usually on MSN with Phatty though.

Something that was impressive about us was our ability to win a game after going behind. Whenever we went behind, it felt as though we were still gonna win the game.

Yeah, I did hear you but it was stoppage time, we were behind and needed a goal to draw so there wasn't really much point in staying back; I decided to sprint up the field, very optimistic I know, but y'never know it could've worked out, like it did the other match when I followed up and tooked away the rebound. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be though.

By the fucking way, I keep getting sold out at corners when I'm placed as one of the defenders.

Last night I ended up in a situation where the opposition broke and I was the only player back (three of us are usually placed there, two at the very least) against three attackers. Luckily I managed to spring one of them offside deep in our own half but it could easily have led to a goal being conceded. A bit more discipline would be nice.

Whoever is put back there must stay back until the real defenders return.

Most of the time I think its me and/or DC who end up at the back and we stay where we are but occasionally it isn't. Obviously if you're not one of the three, do whatever the hell you want :tongue:

I would usually start in defence and then when the corner taker was changed it would put me in attack. I have no idea how they choose who goes where at corners. Is it possible to create a custom set piece and use it in game? I'm positive we played against a team who had a straight line of players in the box during a free-kick once, obviously custom created.
