Well played everyone last night, thought we were great and linked up well as a team. If it wasn't for the stupid formations teams were turning up against us with, I think we would've beaten those teams comfortably.

Thought Carlo was excellent, especially at defending, as Any once again. Keep it up mate, doing great :thumbsup:

Now I've switched my player to 5'8" and 161ibs he's a lot quicker. For the time being I'm gonna play either defensive-mid doing a job similar to what Makelele used to do at Chelsea, or play on the wing like Walcott for Arsenal :smug: :cool:

Sorry for my performance, guys. I just couldn't pass straight. I think I need to play more Pro matches, because I have been developing my player through Manager Mode and possibly I've lost familiarity with playing as just one guy.

And to Barn & Four Kicks, sorry I got disconnected in that last match that we were winning. It seems I'm better off playing after 9pm or 10pm as my connection is quite vulnerable during peak times. I was actually playing better in that game, so was disappointed it counted for shit.

Yes, we played some very good football late last night and were very unfortunate with the results. The sudden craze for teams to play 6-1-3 or 5-2-3 formations with the defensive line pushed as far back as possible is ruining the game experience. It's not realistic and it's simply exploitative of the poor defensive AI.

I only scored four goals last night, well below par for me, but I'm not sure how. I hit the post over ten times and the keeper consistently pulled off great saves. Had I been scoring as I normally do (on average over 1 a game) we may have won a few more of those matches.

Carlo was very good on ANY again, though it's somewhat pointless complimenting him on here as he's not about to read it.

Good session last night lads, we won them all except that 5-5 one, which we should have won really.

Thought I was pretty wad though, clearly rusty after a few weeks away from it. I also had lag in those last two games which is why I missed a couple of easy ones.

Aside from astonishingly shit refereeing calls during last night's session (we must've given away a world record number of free-kicks yet 90% of the time none of us had a clue why the referee had blown his whistle) we're finding Roma a good team.

As Original? realised the other day, if we pick a team to play as we must also get their (uneditable) Custom Tactics so a club like Roma would suit us given the sort of game we tend to try and play in attack.
