Just purely in terms of gameplay, 2009 was better than 2010 for me. In my opinion, they've gone every other - PES 4 was awesome, 5 not so good, 6 good, 2008 crap, 2009 good, 2010 crap. So hopefully...
do you prefer pes 09 or pes 2010?

That's what I'm hoping. I've been playing lots of PES 4 on my PC recently and it's loads more fun than 2010...

PES 2010's game play is much better than PES 2009s...PES 09 was far too easy and fast paced, almost like Fifa.

What they've tried to make 2010 is much better than 2009, yes. But they haven't succeeded. They've implemented alot of changes to the way the game plays and haven't spend enough time proofing each one because the final result is wank.

PES 10 is miles better....honestly.
Nostalgia is lovely, but the old game is not a patch on the newer one. My pes 10 disk broke and I was the same so couldn't afford a new one until pay day.
I went back to pes 09 and couldn't believe how unresponsive and slow it was compared to 10.
pes 10 is much much better imo.

Pes 2010 all the way. There´s one problem that bothers me the most and that is the difficulty of the game, it´s way to easy but I fixed that by getting a program which sets the ML level to superstar and it´s alot harder.
