Hey Lads

I just read on Evo-Web forum that "Konami has also released a number of new screens to accompany the trailer, and these reveal for the first time the new 'Stadium Edit' mode, that allows users to create their own home ground for use in the game".

Has anyone else heard about this??? Absolute massive bonus :w00t if correct (I am talking PS3 & 360). The screen shot I saw looked like a generic english stadium.

Cheers!

Awesome. I've wanted this for ages. Always seemed abit stuuupid playing PES United VS FC Noonegivesashit on Master League infront of about 85,000 at the Nou Camp or something

I was completely 50/50 about whether to go with PES or Fifa for next year, but if I can make the Reebok Stadium on PES. There is only one winner!

That is of course if Fifa dont decide to just licence the Reebok for me. ;-)

I'm pretty sure that there will be major limitations regarding the stadium editor, and that the first version of it in PES11 will mostly be decorating stadiums to make them feel unique to specific teams by placing banners etc.

Who knows, my dream will be that they can incorporate a stadium builder to the extent that Madden NFL 04 did it, with options on different stands, grass options etc. That would be awesome! But let's wait and see!

I'd love to think we'll have control over everything eg stands size, shape, capacity etc but in reality I think you're right. I think in PES 2011 we'll just be able to change things like advertisings, banners, flags, grass etc rather than create a whole unique stadium.

I hope I'm wrong though!

To be honest not too bothered about stadium editor as its not really that visible when the game kicks off, being able to change/edit the grass will be cool though :)

Sorry dude I don't live my life on these forums...

This is going to make PES2011 unstoppable if stadium editor for PS3/XBOX360 is true... very happy

you dont have to "live on a forum" in order to be up to date with information! its called reading! there is a thread on this already!!!

and it is true so the "if" factor is no longer relevant!!!

just wish they would release some more news about it!!!

hahaha.. let me clarify then "I don't spend my life reading forums or checking PES updates". In saying that I wouldn't mind seeing some more screenshots or an update on the stadium editor ;)

Just stating it takes 5 minutes to quickly read through this forum for a title that says Stadium editor!

I like the idea that you can upload your own logo's etc!! i can see my life time after work being spent in editor mode again...... the MRS shant be happy! but pes is my no.1 love anyway hahah

What I am most surprised about, is that no one mentions adjusting pitch size for a specific stadium and team? This is something that would have a direct effect on gameplay as there are rather large differences in pitch size between different teams.

As much as I cant wait for this game, its embarrassing that konami have included paper balls and pumpkin heads but no net editor, they continually shoot themselves in the foot.

Totally agree... waste of development time IMO. Anyway moving on, I am getting pretty excited about the stadium edit mode but I have noticed in the latest pics of stadium edit mode you can't change the KONAMI 'Ad boards' :crymore: So lets say for me trying to create 'Goodison Park', I will still have these massive stinking RED KONAMI ad boards all around the pitch?? I am really really hoping that we can somehow edit these??

It would just seem a tad odd that they introduce this fantastic edit mode and leave us with these generic KONAMI ad boards which when in game make every pitch feel kinda the same :erm:

Does anyone know how many stadiums will we be able to create?

And if we will finally be able to change stadiums for french and dutch clubs?

Ad-boards are dynamic in the game [online updates advertising charity events and korean hatchbacks this year] so there's possibly a good reason you can't change the boards. It could also be that they are using purely Konami imagery because they can't officially show the stadium editor offering hooky logos.

Would be nice being able to import images for the adboards.
