CPU on top player is tough

I dont know what it is but I cant manage to win every match against the CPU.

When Im playing online I win alot.. but for axample when im playing exhebition matches against all kind of teams I win.. but then i choose to play against a club like FC Twente i just cant win.. over and over again.. (lol)

hows your experience playing the cpu? am i the only one with this problem?

I've always found I'm pretty good against the computer but average against human players, I assume its because I can 'read' how the AI will play due to a certain level of predictability.

It is tough on the new ML but I find that its down to some flaws within the game making it more of a challenge then you'd expect.

CPU cheats think about it you are only able to apply 'Pressure' with 2 players the CPU does it with like 5 or 6

Im finding it quite easy to be fair!

What are your controller settings? Semi-Assisted?

iv hardly played more than maybe 10 games. on second highest setting.

started a champs league with roma, found it quite easy in the groups probably won 4 drawn 2 ish. but didnt really feel threatened and it was 5min games.

when i came up against real i drew 00 found it really tough, then second leg. easier (was at home this game) last 5 i scored thought get in.

last min ronaldos down the wing. i was gonna hack him at one point but thought nahhh be real if they scored sort of feeling. anyhow he crosses. kaka heads GOAL. im SHOCKED how quick it all happened as if the comp said im gonna win this game. that was it game over out hte cup.

overall though find it easy. just find it REALLY annoying you cannot do someone on the wing and cross you only get 2 yards then they catch you.

also when the comp gets a through ball i never worry as i know you wil ALWAYS catch them,. quite annoying really how easy it is to deffend

CPU throws itself forward a lot more when loosing and you might need to set up shop, specially in the last minutes, but besides that... it's like every other PES top player difficulty level...

Dont touch assisted, seriously, your asking for trouble, the auto switching is totally fucked as it is without letting the CPU fuck it up even more for you, try Semi, you will defend much better.

I find it difficult to shut the CPU out on top player, admittedly I am using Real Madrid, not cos im a glory hunter, I actually wanted to use Barca, but didnt wanna be the best team. Anyways so far Ive won 25/30 games on top player but the defending in this game is nasty as hell, I know when I play Athletico Madrid soon they are gonna kill me, my defence are going through a phase where any team can cut them open, anyhow i didnt have cassilas, i'd be done.

1 thing that is noticable is the fact comp scores most of its goals from set plays and also in the last few mins of each half.

I've honestly found the top player difficulty to be the most challenging from all the recent pes.

It's true, they pressure u a lot, u can't just dwindle on the ball or run easily from midfield. It forces u to pass quick and be very cautious when going forward (counter attacks being an exception). It's almost like u have to have real purpose when passing about, and also be very technically clinical... i really like it, it's opened up a new style of playing for me.

Lots of effort and concentration required i found...

Playing with Arsenal at the moment in master league, nearly completed a season. I bought Higuain who is such a clinical finisher, give him some space... plus the the ball in the box... and he will score.

Arshavin is also amazing, his dribbling is immense, very easy to get onto the wing and cut in, very tricky... when looking to dribble with a player u have to trick them with feints etc. and use sprint sparingly to actually get passed the player.
