A TIP for all you guys having trouble with Penalties

If you guys are having trouble with scoring off penalty kicks(courtesy - the sideways camera view), you can try doing what i used to do in PES 2010 upon being awarded a penalty. I haven't bought PES 2011 yet, so am not sure if this still works. Just move into the options menu,then camera option, then select the "PLAYER" camera. It will give you a front view of the net ,from the penalty spot. Try it. It's much better. Needless to say, after 'scoring' from the spot, switch your camera view back to the default or whichever you use.

Good tip, i never got a penalty on last years version because the refs were so shite.. Maybe i will this year..

Yeah,you will...this time around... I came across a lot of people over many threads complaining about not being able to score off penalties..

I like the penalties in PES, I might be part the minority saying that, all I do is press shoot, as the player is running to the ball hold UP or DOWN(LEFT or RIGHT of the goal), for no longer than a second then let go, BANG, low and hard in the bottom corner, keeper no chance.

If you push Left or Right (towards or away from the goal) you will either sky it or hit a cheeky chip shot, so I don't bother with that. It's a mistake that I used to make a lot when learning how to take them. This little thing in your brain tells you that if you want to hit the spot kick towards the goal you have to push your d-pad/stick towards it...do that and you hit it into the car-park....lesson over :D

the penalties are brutal in pes11. i've left my keeper standing as most of the players either sky it or hit it down the middle.
