Thanks, I think the main reason we were winning games, with you as ANY, was your non-nonsense defending and you knew the right time to make passes etc, as you've mentioned.

Also with you as ANY means that Phats can play down a wing, not needing to control anyone else which he has to do time and time again, and he's brilliant there.

My favourite goal I scored was the finesse goal from the edge of the box which went in off the crossbar (the first game of the session, I believe?). :)

Barn scored some mighty headers too.

Indeed last night was flawless. Only thing was I'm not quite sure how Berry didn't get a hat-trick in that last game - not sure how that header near the end of the 6-0 game looped up as it did.

I liked that header I scored when my VP arched his header backwards. There were some great crosses from Joel and Desijut in particular.

When I'm on the wing, I'm just going to be direct as possible. My pro is a bit fast and has a bit of strength, so it's kind of easy for me to just get out wide and cross it straight away. 90% of the time I know you're going to be on the end of it.

If Bale can score two identical goals in one game in real life, fuck it, we can score 8 identical goals in one game!

With one of the goals you scored from ym cross, you didn't even trigger the celebration button, you just ran straight to my player. I was just thinking, "well Barn obviously enjoyed that one" :lol:

I've now got the Bicycle Kick trait so I look forward to scoring some tonight! :ninja: :happy:

As always though, I'm always happy to set them up; my player isn't great at finishing, I'm more of a defensive striker I think.

Me and Barn definitely works well up front though; with him up top I'm confident I can run past him and he can knock headers on in my path, as we were doing on goal kicks often.

I remember that goal. I was calling for a pass on the left then all of a sudden I see the ball in the back of the net; I completely missed it going in. Was it a mistake by the keeper or was it just perfectly placed out of his reach?

We should all do that sliding celebration that I think Chelsea did years ago - can't remember who it was, Di Matteo? Wise? At one point me and Barn did it at the exact same time.

How we won that last game 6-0 with me on any is a mystery to me as I was getting the 2 second delay thing, yet I was somehow winning tackles and making passes. Just one of those games where everything clicked and the ref wasn't on our backs.

Yeah, that's the one I'm on about. Dunno if you have to unlock it but if you want to do it it's L2 and right analog stick down (hold). That and the brick fall are the best celebrations. The weird bouncing ones are shit and annoying.

And yeah that celebration is pretty cool lol.

Last night was pretty good alright. A few really easy games, where even my fairly average vp was able to out-perform their team. I still think I really need to get his stats up to be at the same level as the rest of you guys. I've gotton a few of the cross assist, and the assist from corner due to Barn so thats made me a bit better now.

Berry's long shot went straight over the keeper, he had no chance really. I really thought it went over the way he just turned and watched it go in! :lol:

I think I played a couple of games as RAM/LAM which I have to say, I hated. For some reason I just really didn't enjoy those games. I much prefer LF or LCM.

Well played again tonight lads, pure ownage!!!!

I'm fed up of my player's wad finishing so I've now made him a Forward/Centre/Targetman

I'd like to think I'll be able to finish those chances now! I make the room and then all I was lacking was the finish (with my feet; fine with my head lol)

Alchemist the player of the night for me: very solid as ANY.

my VP is a striker normally, but I need to do the defence accomplishments so I'll be playing as centre back - the other night I was on and it was a total cunt, the response times were a disgrace, literally unplayable! You'd press to pass and it'd take honestly 2 or 3 seconds to respond.

You might have just missed us, Berry. It was quite a mixed bag for me. Started off poorly; progressed really well; then finally started to stagger towards the end. I think I was probably mentally drained. I was online for hours. I'm pretty confident I imporved my overall average match rating, though.

Was a good session last night, I think I was playing clubs for about 4/5 hours haha...started off up front doing OK, then went to centre back and finally in goals where I reckon I done mostly quite well :) it's harder than I thought but in one game I got a match rating of 10 which I'd never seen before!

I'll be on tonight again, about half 9 onwards

Just to confirm, I thought you were excellent in goal Gun Runner, you made a couple of mistakes but also made a couple of phenomenal stops that more than made up for it. I had a mixed performance, I thought I played well enough at ANY though Desi missed a couple of sitters in that game. Lag was back with a vengeance though yesterday which was disappointing as Saturday it was far smoother.

I find Sundays to be particularly poor for lag. I had no problems at all on Friday and Saturday yet when I went on yesterday I got disconnected mid-game twice then just gave up.

Hmmm... good to know, might avoid Sundays. I presume this is a server issue.
