Offsides a little bit off?

Anyone else find the offside calls to be a little off?most of the time when my i pass it to my forward who is level with the defender, it gets called offside. but today i conceded a goal that looked clearly offside, but wasnt given, i even saved the replay to look at it more, and it was pretty obvious he was at least a yard offside. i hope konami didnt do that on purpose

Interesting, i've never seen a wrong offside decision go that way before. Anyway, I had a little rant about offsides here http://www.pesgaming.com/showthread.php?t=81421 (please comment, took me a while to write out all that :crymore.

If they did allow for incorrect offside decisions, I wouldn't mind actually. I'd be pissed off in-game, but it's more realistic. Just don't like being called up for fouls that NO referee would ever give!

Anyway, I think they're waaaay to accurate, plus players doon't make the effort to get back onside when they go off. It's actually really frustrating me at the moment.

AFAIK, you cannot be judged offside if the ball is being passed backwards on the pitch right? Yet this has happened to me a few times, when my guy was in an offside position, but the ball being passed backwards...

you think thats bad, you should have seen the penalty I gave away. I hacked the AI player at least 2 feet outside the area and it sent my player off (fair enough!!) but then to my astonishment gave a penalty.... rubbish!! :0)

I haven't noticed any bad offside decisions, what is annoying though is when a player in an offside position receives the ball and the whistle blows about 10 seconds later!!

Two things seem to annoy me about offsides in the game. The delay between the offside and the whistle sometimes seems a bit too long, and my players sometimes stay in an offside position.. I'm just standing there waiting to try a pass and end up losing position

Simply put Konami dont understand offsides, they have little to no concept of 'active players' for instance, also they dont seem to understand that if the ball comes off a opposition player (intercepted pass or whatever) you also cannot be offside.

How many times have I been denied a goal when my pass ricochet off an opponent player but manages to find another one my strikers anyway, or how shots that gets parried by the goalkeeper landed at my striker's feet and still the shot is called off for offside.

Yeah bloody frustrating isn't it, I swear my wife has a better grasp of the offside rule than Konami do, in fact shed slap me for that she has a better understanding of football fullstop than Konami (or EA)
