I think there will be another konami or transfer update after January, so possibly early feb.
I am just about done other than a few championship teams.

Make sure that this file is inside a folder labelled PS3. I think sent out the Savedata folder, if not it should be PS3/SAVEDATA/...
If that doesnt work, look in the game menu on the PS3 for another way to open the USB. I tried to install the file from Goalgerd and was getting the same problem where it couldnt see any data, then I found another way in the game menu, perhaps PS3 memory or something which listed the USB drive again and it could see its contents from there

i managed to install it but i got an Error message stating "unable to load Data as file is from another version"
shall i worry about that or just go ahead and continue?

You need to install the latest patch from konami and then the latest downloadable content. Then close the program and then put the option file on again

After plating half a season with two master league teams - Porto and Juventus, I felt the response wasn't was good as it should be and felt attackers were too easily caught by defenders.
I virtually re-wrote the game again today by upping the movement stats on most fowards. It now plays more fluid, but it may be a little easy, so I may make more changes.
I think I will probably release two versions of the file. One as it was and another with these changes in, but probably dulled down a bit.
I would try both and see which one you prefer
I am not sure if its using different stadiums but the master leagues game play is a lot less responsive than playing the game in exhibition mode.
It may be that konami start master leagues like this so that when players get better they do not become too fast too early.
Either way it makes editing the game play bloody difficult

this file is great but when u go online because u had ripped this game apart and made it a thosand times better its shit online and so rubbish lol

I'm about to try the Jan update now... Please guys make sure for the final update you make a update file from Jan to the final, instead of having to copy every over again!!

After playing a few half's of master leagues I am considering giving all forwards in the game the fox in the box card, as I am sick of my forwards taking up terrible positions when I have the ball out wide.

Yeah, thinking the same thing regards fowards. To be fair they are a pretty uninspiring bunch in the game in general at I don't think it is your tweakery that is to blame.
That said, both Ibra and Raul have ripped me apart almost single handedly in a couple of exhibition matches I played.
Ultimately, PES2012 needs to see a great deal of polish and further variety in animations so as play in the final third in particular can feel more alive with possibilities and opportunity. I think part of the problem with the forwards ineptitude is that the animation engine doesn't really allow for much at the moment. If there is one thing I do prefer in FIFA11 besides animations, it is that although the game is pretty dumb and a bit tactically shallow, you do get the feeling anything is possible in the final third. PES needs that same front end polish that hooks you in initially, keeps you with the game and interested before then allowing the tactical game to flourish.
I think PES2011 is reasonably 'smart' but what is driving the deep tactical experience and personality is let down by technical short comings - think Valentino Rossi taking to the grid on a moped for a MotoGp race. Sure, he is the smarter, more aggressive and daring rider but it means little when the hardware he is given isn't up to the task and as a result all that personality, guile and overall class to his racing is made redundant.

The Gameplay aspect of this option file sounds great. I have not got the patience to add all the kits etc and just want what sounds like the excellent gameplay Updates.
Can I just install this part? I had spent a couple of hours installing the WENB OP and it didnt take. I would just like to install the gameplay section over this failed attempt. I only have one account on my PS3. Do I need to start another to get this Gameplay tweek working?
I have all the updates & bootpacks etc.

Expect a new edit file out soon with this partially sorted. I am going through the game now and adding fox in the box to all forwards, plus incisive run and mazy (sp?) dribble to a lot of attack players.
Also adding early cross and pin point passing to a lot of wide men.
In some cases, aslo raising the response of forwards
