Transfer breakdown

I'm fairly new to this game and have been enjoying the master league. I'm playing as Chelsea and decided to get a few new players. I have got a few average players no problem but I'm after one star signing. Everytime I try and sign him it always breaks down. Is there anyway to overcome this?? Thanks

The level of your scout makes a difference. You can only hire a new scout at the beginning of each season.

Hire a scout that are specialized in big clubs. It will be hard to sign a first team squad player but do keep them in your scout list to update on their status. Most probably you won't be able to sign them on the first couple of seasons so just remember to try and nego with them every transfer window. I was able to sign Messi on my 6th season and he's 29.

Thanks for the info, I did manage to get a scout that specialises in big clubs so will just keep trying. I was after Sergio Aguero. Is there any other young strikers that are quite easy to get? I wanted a young one to develop. Thanks

Did you check your youth team, you can get a few good players from there for free

There are plenty of threads in the ML section of the forum about good youngsters, check them out.
If you want strikers that get REALLY good, from my experience (after 5 seasons), you should look at the likes of Aguero and Higuain.... ie the big names.
If you want strikers that will reach the mid to late 80s... then I would reccommend Dembele (Fulham) and Rodrigo (Bolton). I may be a bit biased with Rodrigo, but he starts off at 72 and is now at 88 after 5 seasons. So he's worth buying, even just as an impact sub.

I am one of those who gets frustrated so many times and yet I am still playing the game. I probably going to play it until the next Pes comes out.
