I'm usually super awesome :D It just sends me on these bad runs every now and then... for no reason!

I know what you mean though. I'll be struggling after a couple of weeks of not playing it. I'll start to miss the good parts of the game. Even as I'm typing this, I want to jump into ML and own every team with Douglas Costa and Toni Kroos.

Hmmmm, maybe I don't need to take a complete break. Maybe just from online. I'll take maybe 1 or 2 weeks off completely, then I might play a bit of offline. It's online that pisses me off the most. I can almost accept the scripting in single player, but not multiplayer.

Is it me, or am I starting to sound like a cigarette adict, who is hopelessly trying to quit, getting withdraw symptoms after a day? :laugh:

I am not worked up about nothing, I am merely stating something obvious; one of the negatives about the internet, you get people talking about getting "worked up" when they can't even see the expression on your face nor hear the tone of your voice.

No I am not "worked up" about a video game. And I know it was a rhetorical question.

By the way, what is it with your mod attitude, stop fucking telling me how to behave, I was merely answering the rhetorical question, there was no need to get worked up about it enough to tell me not to get worked up over nothing.

And you are right, Online is the worst part, because Online is where you get to experience how scripted the game is.

I have played games where myself and my opponent both play without exploiting the flaws, after I go one goal ahead, my opponent exploits one of the many cheap flaws knowing that the momentum is now in his favor, draws the game via a cheap flaw, and then reverts back to his initial stance.

You just loose interest in the game. I think it all boils down to your mentality, if you are looking for a serious game with real substance, PES and FIFA are not for you; if you just want cheap entertainment with no substance underneath, PES and FIFA will be good enough.

I would have been fine playing PES11 two years ago, but my mentality with video games has changed in the last two years.

Tbh Ali, I usually only play online for the first month or so after a new game comes out and then forget about it and concerntrate on my ML. Who needs friends?

I'm gonna echo Matt's sentiments. I wasn't telling you what to do at all, I was advising you. Just don't take things too seriously, it's only a forum afterall.

I doubt you know the meaning of a "rhetorical" question, if you felt the need to answer it :D

I don't know where this idea of me having a "mod" attitude comes from. Now I suggest you tone down the swearing and insults or else I will have to take further action in the future.

Honestly, i think fifa is much less scripted. And, if it is scripted, i've found it to be scripted in my favour. I was player on legend skill, Tottenham (Me) vs World XI (PS3). I decided it would be fun to give a 20 minute half a go. by half time i was 8-0 down. However, the subs i made made a huge difference and i (somehow) managed to draw level, only to lose on penalties. So yes i still lost, but i never though i'd even get a goal.

Scripting in pes 2011 is far worse. The ball floats through players, the keepers make shocking mistakes which will end up costing the match, and the AI have ridiculous speed to pace your defenders and score.

So yeah, maybe both are scripted but in very different ways.

But i broke my control when i threw it at the wall after Crouch missed a fucking sitter.

In my opinion, FIFA11 is more scripted, the passing just feels incredibly scripted, but on the positive side, the defenders and gks are not as unreliable as in PES.

Having said that, I have not played nearly enough FIFA11 to say that it is more scripted than PES11. In my expereince, passing is more assisted in FIFA11, but the rest of the game is more scripted in PES11.

I bought PES 2011 at the weekend because I was getting frustrated with FIFA - or I thought I was before I played this sh1t.

I don't know where to begin but the main flaw for me was the blatant scripting. I can honestly say that I have never seen anything like it.

I know its been brought up on this thread and site numerous occasions but the scripting is not only blatant - its almost unstoppable.

I was playing against Bolton as Spurs and in the last minute a ball was played to Kevin Davis from midfield. I tried to tackle him by switching to my defender but the game wouldn't let me - he then hit a shot that was tipped over the bar. The corner come in and my defenders again went fkin walkabout and he headed in the winner.

At no point did I have (or could I) control my defenders. This game should not have been released.:realmad:

Dont even get me started on the out of date transfers.........:no:
