I was already convinced that this game employs some form of 'momentum' or 'scripting'. After my last game there is no doubt.

My opponent had a corner. Ball went to the top of the box and was headed toward goal. It wasn't a hard shot and was going directly to my keeper. So what happens next? MY KEEPER DUCKED!!!

I have never seen anything like it before. He ducked and the ball went directly over his head into the goal.

My opponent was surprised too and we watched all the replays in amazement at how fucked up that was.

Anyway, it's not big news that the game is scripted beyond reason. Saying that, I am aware that virtually all games that employ some sort of AI is scripted, because artificial intelligence is exactly that, scripts. But we're talking about the sudden changes of rules, physics and probability that PES does way too often.

I wish I could have had it recorded but I don't. I've seen this game do some silly stuff but NOTHING compares to that one. Sadly it did happen.

i believe you mate,i was playing BAL mode yesterday and i was taking a corner as i crossed it into the box my team mate headed it towards goal and the keeper ducked ha ha it was class

The most annoying thing about this game is being offside. Often during an attack my players will stand offside for ages and i have no other option than to pass backwards to my CB. At other times the scrpting is obvious. When i play a through ball the CPU just moves my player an inch offside and voila ball back to cpu. This rarely happens to the AI.

And often i have to change 6 players in the formation cause of bad arrows i mean come on 4 dark blue arrows in the group final at the World Cup.

Just lost as Ghana 5-2 to England. They had 5 first timer shots from outside the penalty area hitting the post. Me keeper stood still on all shots. The lose balls came after i lost header duels. Never seen the scripting so obvious.

The only proof of scripting I have is three broken pads and a replaced disk, I'm hooked despite the sometimes insulting nature if this game.

Just had a few irritating matches lol, I'll get over it. Cursor change seems to fuck up very conveniently against the AI.

I beat Germany 6-0 on top player with Ghana (fascinating anecdote :laugh:), adapt your tactics and you'll find Ghana are one of the best mid-range teams in the game.

I can beat the best teams as well but especially when i play as Ghana England seem to have special powers. They seem to have superhuman powers and just bump into my players. Just drew a 2-2 against England and only because i prior to the game practiced penalties for 5 min. Their goals were from random balls and stupid stupid goalkeeping. Need i to say their keeper was superb which is hilarious especially when you see England keepers IRL. England is overated in the game.

Despite my love for pes 2011 I still think the scripting in ML offline(top player) can be downright ridiculous and it works both ways.

i had something where I was beating this guy 1-0 (with barca) and he was Ac milan and he brought on F. Inzaghi and he shot from just inside the box at an angle and Victor valdes dived out of the way :O. despite this, I still enjoy the game so much

Single player is a nightmare for it.
This week the pes gods hve been against me .But i still won't buy into online scripting ,konami aren't that clever to implement that .
