Not really as there are loads of copies sold on ebay for the us version. However if you read sminky's quote from PESfan.com you''ll release that there is no advantage to buy a us copy if you're from the uk due to online lag.

Also most of the OP files that will include the championship and EPL will be catered towards the uk code. So really it's best to just wait instead of wasting your money due to impatience.

I dont use option files or care about online play whatsoever, therefore to me he is a lucky bastard. I would have done the same if it wasn't for the fact I dont get paid for another couple of weeks.

... I honestly can't see the desire to buy PES2012 US edition, I want to the play the game online and get the best patches for maximum enjoyment. Also, £45 is quite steep!

On a more serious note will konami ever bring back home & away support like they had in pes6, makes the game more realistic.

For those of you ordering the US version just know that the US version rarely gets any patches or DLCs. We do get them eventually but only weeks after the UK and Europe versions.

Hopefully that changes this year since we did get the game early, but that's just my experience from the past two years.

Eu version that will ship to America

Buygame2.com (Hong Kong company) has it, I bought the ps3 UK version from them last year, this year they're selling the European version, they start shipping it out tomorrow. There's several other sites but with my exhausting research I found out most will charge you arm and the rest of you're ancesters legs with bullshit exchange rates and shipping regulations charges. I know someone who bought it from Amazon for over$100something, I love PES but seriously, c'mon! LOL. US folks, buy the UK or EU version, US version lacks good enough moderators, I learned my lesson when I bought the PES 2010 , I was grateful for the OF but I felt shorthanded when I saw the UK and EU OF...it was painful. Enjoy the game everyone!

it shocks me people in the UK or Europe buy the US version, I live in the US and am waiting the extra time to get the UK version just for the amount of quality and choice in option files.
