Anyone else hate the way form is this year on MLO?

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea. But it just seems to me that it has nothing to do with the condition stat, which of course was so important in pes 2011. While I like the form to remain the same for a day, I feel that the same form lasts too long. I bought Mascherano the other day for my pass and present Liverpool squad while he was on a blue arrow. The next day he turns purple, I was having a laugh at it thinking what are the odds(he has a condition of 7). Then his purple arrow of death remains for the next 4 days...I just don't see how someone with a 7 condition gets a purple arrow 4 days straight while we have people with 3-4 conditions playing like they're on steroids because of a red arrow for a couple days running

anyone else feel that this is a problem?

Well, I think the "Form - Stat" of player might just be bypassed in MLO, since the daily Form of a Player is supposed to be linked to the daily performances of all the Mascheranos out there.

I am trying to make sense out of it and I cant.
So the owners of Macheranos are not using him effectively and thats why the form is bad?

I don't like the way the system works if it works the way described here. But it would make sense... When you look under statistics after the game you have a mark for every player as you problably remember. This number probably is put together from every match of this player by any player owning him. This would be a logical math but it's sad to be dependent on other players abilities.

no its not a bug. i had some amazing games with kagawa, they have captured his movements quiet well and his arrow kept going up, with not that many users. Then 1200 ppl got him and his arrow started going down and now he s at a purple. So maybe i should sell him and get him back later?

yeah i got him when his transfer fee was super low, had to sell him later cause of his contract running out and lack of form.

On the side note, i really don't like the fact that my players' form relies on other people's performance, but then i guess if it was just based on mine they'd all be red;)

but on a serious note, the condition stat needs to matter more, mascherano being purple arrow for the entire freaking week is unacceptable

Best idea i had was to total each players rating for the last 10 matches... lets say player A averages 7.25 for those 10 matches. Then we create boundaries for the arrows so... purple = 0-5.5.0, blue = 5.5-6.0, green = 6.0-6.5, orange = 6.5-7.0 and red = 7.0+. meaning player A is now on a 'Reddy!'

This could be updated after every match, therfor form would be calculated after every game.

Now, to still incorperate the condition (form) stat, simply move the boundaries for the arrows, so a player with 1 form would say need to get an average rating of 7.5+ etc. or a player with 8 form only need to get 6.5+.

This system would result in subtle gains and losses in form directly related to the players recent performance and his condition stat.

Perfect - why have Konami not thouught of this? i mean i fix washing machines for a living, i should be paid more :)

Yeah, I'm also annoyed with Kagawas form, also bought him as one of the first cheaper ones. But it's not worth to sell him yet and maybe he'll get better. I bought Mehmet Ekici also, really like him. His stats are average but he's a good enough CMF with 73, still very cheap also. He was on orange at the start and went all the way down to purple, now he's coming back. Just wait

I ll give konami this though, it has gotten me to play different styles with different players online. Right now I own the midfield with fellaini and parker as Marko Marin spearheads my attack.

definitely, i guess it ultimately forces people to use different players, just bought kewell for my liverpool team, 6 goals in 2 games. amazing dribble

I regularly bought players with 7 for form on PES2011 and I'll do the same on PES2012 whilst I'm building my squad. Also, you can see the form of your opponents players if you select man marking, well you could on PES2011, not sure if it was a glitch but I used to stick my best players on an opponents lower form players. You can mark a player out the game due to the form arrows.

i did the same, but just don't know how useful that'll be this year

To start with it will help against the show ponies with 3 or 4 for form. I'll use solid players as a platform to buy more extravagant players. 7 for form, decent stamina, teamwork and passing are pretty much essential early doors.

It is a bad system. Form should be random every game(well not completely random because condition should be factored in but you get the point).
