I've been playing the game for a while now and strangely, most of my shot just go straight to the keeper despite me aiming to the 2 corners. Especially on 1 on 1 situations, my shots always go straight to the keeper however I aimed :(. Shooting was so great in PES 2011, can someone tell me how to shoot properly in this game? especially in 1 on 1 situations

Hello. You are right. It's kinda hard to score from one on one situations this year, I've struggled a lot too. What I recommend you do, is:

- if you're with a fast player, with less technique, try dribbling the goalie kindly and then score
- if you're with a good player, press the speed button (R1) + the shoot button so you can hit the ball with your side of the foot.
- or, you can try the L1 + the shoot button combination. Works fine most of the time, the keeper just can't get the ball.

when u figure it out let me know cuz this is the most annoying thing ever... it must be fixed... you aim for right corner, it goes left; u aim for let corner, it goes to straight to the goalkeeper. 1 v 1 just pissed me off!

use RT after you load the kick bar for direction. Kick with RB for a low kick into a corner or elude the goalkeeper with a trick. LB to lob it. Simply load X if you have a good angle.

ps- Pes has a terrible shooting system.

It used to have the best shooting system. I remember WE6, if you had a good striker and you had time, you could literally shoot exactly where you wanted with pinpoint accuracy.

i rem i used to play pes 3 with a broken joypad the square button was missing so i lodged a bertie bassets allsort into the slot and for some reason the shooting was amazing i won the treble 2 ML season on the trot scoring over 200 goals

i ended up nibbling away at the allsort till it was all gone i tried replacing it with wine gums but it was never the same.
