In textual form I see no problem in using ditto; I have never identified any particular problem with it in a faggy sense. So I'm afraid there will be no 'capiche', or even a 'comprende' for that matter.

Infact don't ever impose anything upon me again.

I'm sure you've pulled me up about using it before, I was actually hoping for a witty repartee regarding my use of capiche as I only used it to provide you with ammunition to call me a slice.

I'm afraid I'm all out of witty comebacks. I figured your use of capiche may have been down to Boardwalk Empire fagbashing.

Worst session I have ever been privy to taking part in. No idea what has gone wrong with our team, and i'm as culpable as the next, but it is rotten to the core.

It's woeful, and the worse thing now is that we have tried everything - human ANY, different formations, changing players. We're blowing 2 goal leads in spectacular fashion. The enjoyment is being sapped out of Clubs completely. Our confidence is shot. We must have lost about 25 of the last 30 games I've participated in, and lets face it 90% of the goals are coming from individual errors, we're just gifting the game to them. I think most of my proposals last time were ignored but I'll try again as I can't think of anything else.

1) VPs. I haven't brought this up before, but it might be an idea to get your VPs up, especially in terms of crossing and passing. Play against shit teams, or maybe even against each other online to get cheap accomplishments.

2) More chipped through passes in the final third rather than passes on the floor if you can see a defender will more than likely cut it out. More imagination in this area in general. Make good runs, look for the cutting pass, etc.

3) Get the corners into that middle area rather than at the back of the penalty area or the near post.

4) No passing around at the back where one mistake will likely give them a goal.

5) The positional sense is the most critical. We get in each others way in defence, midfield and attack, it's embarassing to watch. Keep your distance and don't just chase the ball. If you're playing in a front 3, don't get back all the time. 7 can defend well enough (and it won't get congested), and if we break, we can then mount a proper attack. If it's just me up top I can't flick it on to anyone, and can only hold it for so long.

Point five is crucial, if this isn't adhered to we'll never win another fucking game.

Unfortunately, some of us are out of the house from 7-6 during weekdays, we don't have the time to invest into making a great VP. 81 (my rating) should more than suffice.

Well, when our defending was as woeful as it was yesterday, is it any wonder why as a CAM I was running back and got my "off the line clearance" achievment? When nothing seems to be working at the back you cant just sit up top waiting for it to sort itself out.

Well I did say 'all the time', and that wasn't actually a front 3 game. The problem is though that if all the forwards get back we'll never get out as a team, unless it goes out of play or they score.

Opposition teams often just play the percentages - hang 4 or 5 around our defence and play the 'score more than you' game.

I think we're just having real stinkers in midfield. Fuck, last night was awful for me as a DMF. First touch was terrible, passing to the opposition, I didn't know how to change it.

I think it all comes down to passing though. I still think we try through pass too many times. We see a pass, but that doesn't mean our VP's are going to make that pass. If we use normal pass more, we won't lose the ball as much and not get hit on the break every single time.

It would make sense. The psychological trauma of having a team member actually leave because we're so shit is not easily shaken.

I said it in the chat room few days ago but is there any way of making our (CPU) defence defend deeper? It's always a high line that other teams quick forwards can easily break through, especially on the counter attack.

Seem to get beat in the air a hell of a lot too. I don't know if it's cos we're a small team or we're just shit at heading.

Maybe play with more width and use more cross field passes? I dunno, all I know is I shit myself when I see an open goal.

Jonno me and you should just go at the back again this evening, see if that helps. Dale can join us if he wishes.
