New DLC and 1.04 patch coming this week!

Jon Murphy has revealed that Konami will be releasing one last data pack for PES 2012. Another gameplay patch, 1.04, also seems to be on it's way.

The European PES team leader revealed the news today, posting the following message on his Twitter account:

I think think they'll integrate some gameplay features of PES 2013 into it to see our initial expressions. You know the main menu when you enter PES 2012? There are some clips that are played (Ronaldo taking a free kick e.g.) and instead it could be the PES 2013 trailer taking the place

Maybe it is the squads for Euro 2012 and the uniforms, they did an update for the World Cup on 2010, so maybe they'll do the same this time.

Particularly with FIFA12 announcement of the Euro2012 DLC for a moderate price. Trying to remain competitive and can boast theirs is free. They missed the white w/ red FA cup ball but had the high vis yellow w/ blue version; maybe they will add that now.

not sure if gameplay patch is included or not. Murphy's tweet just says DLC but what is this chatter about 1.04?

There's gonna be a new Data Pack, 4.0 I believe, and a patch, 1.04.
I hope they actually fix something with this patch, it's hard for me to come back to the game as it is now...

I have a feeling the items we would want them to fix are not even on their radars. Watching my player run alongside a through ball for 10 yardsand never stick his leg out to bring it in, scripted CPU passing and headers....I better stop, don't want to turn this into a PES whine session.

Use O/D level to get your defense back to help against those CPU headers, especially late when they seem inevitable.

The O/D levels work just fine to combat the AI attacks, as does getting your guys back manually by switching to players off the ball. Don't confuse scripting with the AI forcing you to use some strategy.

yes!!! This is my biggest issue! When I have a ball in the air and Im controlling Chellini for example whos a very good and tall, physical defender, going up againt Messi or Iniesta or Xavi and they somehow outjump me and head the ball away. Also on corners, this is very annoying, especially vs Barca or Real, they seem to always win the balls in the air, well maybe not always but a good majority of the time, especially CR7, hes always heading it even in sea o defenders. This needs to be addressed !

I heard player ID is new in PES 2013. This could probably be the answer to these annoying problems. Even so, scripting will always remain in PES so I just hope it'll be better implemented this year

This is why I love PES. I have just paid £15.99 for EA's euro 2012 add-on pack for Fifa and it doesn't even work! Then I come on here and find out Konami are going to release a similar patch for free. I do not understand people who think Fifa is better than Pes. BTW Pes 2013 screenshots and the new trailer looks like a massive leap in the right direction. You guys can moan all you like about minor problems on Pes but at least on Pes, people don't fly 10ft in the air when someone gives them a nudge.

Yeah, I didn't pay though, I downloaded the demo and it didn't even has all the teams licensed. Bale is Beleth or something like that, no uniforms... :no:
And the worst thing with FIFA is that you cannot edit anything, Beleth will be Beleth always because you cannot edit him.


Back on PES, the trailer gives little info which is expanded in the article they had, and yes player ID is specific moves and skills for some players. that looks great, and also the new GK, let's just wait how it goes.
