of course people are being over the top. i bet if u go back to last years first demo people saying same that this pes could be the best.

what worrys me is why theres a need for 2 demos. i doubt the second demo will be same as this one. just like last year we had 2 demos then the game then it needed loads of patches

. i really hope pes is good this year because i not enjoyed the gameplay since pes09

Tried the demo on my xbox 360...........Awful. Lots of frame rate problems. slight pauses now and again at random times and doesn't seem to have the smoothness the PC version does. Controls also seem to have a slight delay
. Although all console footy games seem to have this, not sure why

some people are over rating PES 13 BUT iv just played fifa 12 for the 1st time since playing the PES 13 demo and its safe to say FIFA 12 is like PIG crap now. fifa was not that much better than the not so good versions of PES anyway.

its over rated but far from awfull

if that makes sense

i wonder if EA are worried?

i wonder if PES will get better sales this year?

i wonder if FIFA will sell more than it did last year in its 1st week on sale? keeping in mind the much improved PES comes out 7 days later

the coming weeks are going to be very interesting

The 360 version is awful............. but if you read the rest of my post you would have seen I was talking Performance wise and not about gameplay.

The PC version is just so much smoother and players seem more responsive too.

The PES DEMO it's self, I'm addicted and just can't stop playing it. Having the other 8-9 teams unlocked also helps. Have been having some awesome games playing as United against Juve and Arsenal.

^haaaa, I did the same routine tonight. PES demo for a few games and then finished a coppa d'italia match on FIFA. I would say if felt more like a pig with lipstick. However, still feel a little under excited about PES but feel more like I will buy both.

Probably time to sell my pes2012 back right now, I should have done it months ago to max the buying price. Can only get $7 right now. Probably could have gotten 12-14 up to a few weeks ago.

Seems fine on the ps3 apart from on replays where the frame rate is very low. I've not experienced anything different in responsiveness in the ps3 or pc version.

I can't believe Konami have stuck with that in your face transition.
It is fucking awful if you play on a big TV at night. God forbid anyone with epilepsy was ever to play this game, they'd keel over in a couple of minutes playing this.

I will give it a go on my PS3 too then and see what I think of that version.

the transition needs to go. even in 2012 I began to look away from it because it hurt my eyes and my frontal lobe. It simply is not needed.

Just another reason why I'm leaning towards getting it for the PC again so you can remove or use something more subtle for the transition. Using the South American teams is the worst with a big beaming white light coming at you.

Been more than 1 year since I posted on this forum.
I loved PES 12 at first, but it started to piss me off after 1 week of playing. I gave up on it and bought Fifa 12. I really enjoyed the game, but career mode is boring as hell. Pes career never bored me, it was the gameplay that pissed me off,

So I saw the Pes 13 demo announcement and decided to give it a try.
It felt a lot like PES 12, and I'm not really noticing any big improvement except that I can place my shots quite easily now. Anyway, I'm really dissapointed in Konami..

The game feels, and looks 99% to Pes 12 to me!

I'm hoping for a second demo, that will blow me away because this really dissapoints me :(

I know its not just me who will think this, but that's not true. That's not just me being equally subjective, the games are completely different, the massive change is game speed. Play on Superstar on PES2012 and then Play on the same level on PES2013, its markedly different. Its not frenetic to the point where you feel utterly wired after playing a match. Whilst it clearly has pretty the same graphics, the gameplay is completely different, its enjoyable.

PES fans are you worried about FIFA 13?

Immediately after picking up the pad we knew EA had once again taken the football simulation to a different level. The sports game publishing giant has not rested on its laurels and is determined to cement its advantage over rival Pro Evolution Soccer.
In the time we got to play FIFA 13 we didn't really get much examples of this addition as a lot of players were still getting caught offside, but apparently the system is still being tweaked. We did on occasion though see Robin van Persie bending his run to beat the offside trap, which, quite frankly was beautiful.

EA are going with the tag line 'predictably unpredictable' for their new sports title but these days it seems predictably predictable that FIFA will come out on top in the battle of football sims.
