'phonic that was exactly what I wanted thanks. Are you getting the numbers from what they're wearing in the friendlies? Bale wearing 9 is pretty random. Bentley getting a number lower than 38 is too.

Yeah, from friendlies, but the shirts have players' names printed. So I'd say they're official, subject to change. Bale thinks he's Cristiano, I think.

Heh. He needs to grow more of a gross, rubbery chicken neck. It's one of those cannot unsee things for me, like Reece Witherspoon's chin.

Have we had any news on Bjorn Helge Riise and Grygera?

EDIT: It was Adebayor who wore 9 last season. What's happening with that? I thought that deal was nearly done but I haven't heard anything for ages.

Apparently a dispute with City subsidising some wages. Ade was #10 for us anyway, but no doubt Bale will rub it in his face if he signs. Haha.

No more on Riise or Grygera; both listed as current Fulham players for the time being.

Whoops so he was. That what happens when I hide the transfers- I can't remember what happened last season. It was Pavlyuchenko who was 9 wasn't it.

Good work on the updates. Have some thumbs.

I'm gonna leave the numbers for now except for the ones that didn't have them before (Veseli, Michu et al). I'll keep eyes on them though. The Arsenal ones in particular are difficult because Arsenal.com is never updated with stuff like this until everything's 100% done (often later than that- Ozyakup's still in the reserves despite moving to Besiktas)

Fryers and Baxter are both in the same situation- although they haven't signed new contracts, they'll stay at their respective clubs until they sign with someone else.

While Vela was mentioned in today's Arseblog as having left and everyone knows it's done, I'm gonna wait until I can link to the BBC or Arsenal.com

All the rest I've updated. Ta.

Oh and I've moved Riise and Grygera back into the reserves. I'm pretty confident I wouldn't forget them but just in case.

Fryers by all accounts is gone. Removed from Man Utd's website, never returned to preseason training. Waiting on tribunal with Spurs. Baxter is on trial at Palace, refused a new deal.

Yeah please. Any of the guys who don't have stats would be much appreciated (Callum Driver and Sam Cowler, George Moncur if they're on there- all of West Ham)
