The days when you could just blow on it or wipe the disk on your t-shirt to fix any problems with it. Even pushing that button to open it was good. Simpler times.

When will the PS4 come out? Or will it just be PS3 upgrades for another while yet?

The feel of closing the disk stray (on the original Playstation) was also quite satisfying.

I meant more along the lines of the problems being more advanced nowadays. It's usually the console that's fucked if anything.

The level of wiping discs has decreased a lot over the years though in fairness. The 'magic wipe' isn't needed as much as it used to be.

I hate when I don't feed the disc enough so I hear the motor just whir incessantly. First thing I say to myself is that is 30 disc eject operations I just took off the life of my PS3.

For quite some time, whenever I try to watch something on 4OD via the PS3, it gets halfway through the programme and then completely hangs the system.

Unable to quit out of the browser to re-launch 4OD and the controller stops working too, so I'm then forced to click the power button on the console to switch it off.

Then when I go to reboot, then goes through the file rebuild thingy due to not being shutdown properly.

No problems with BBC iPlayer, why is 4OD so cancerous?

I've only attempted to watch one thing on 4OD, but it refused to play more than a couple of minutes. No problems with the ads, of course.
