Hi guys. I was playing online against a friend, who if i'm honest is quite a poor player. The reason is he plays with EVERYTHING assisted, it ticks me off bigtime as i like to play manual Everything.

I find it very difficult to compete against his assisted settings, our 1st game ended 2 0 to him. I thought this is doing my head in as i'm constantly hearing through my headset his cheers of how good he is.

I told him i am going to give his assisted settings a go, i quit the game and changed my settings to how his are

I can't believe how bad my shooting was, i was near his goal and missed the net numerous times. My mate was hitting the target from most place's he was at.
I lost the next 4 games on the trot, one was 6.0.

I was playing the same settings and could not hit a barn door. PLEASE PLEASE someone tell me if i'm missing something here, i'm starting to fear for my sanity :shocking:

I just thought , this arrow which you can use for direction. Can both online players see the actual arrow being used ?

No idea if the other player can see the arrow, but yeah, if your shots aren't going where you'd like them to, use the manual shoot button (L2 or LT depending on your console).

What teams were you using? Even playing with a slightly weaker team than your opponent leaves you at a huge disadvantage, even if the weakness of the team is not that apparent. Never for example, play with Bayern in PES 2013 under the illusion that you are playing with a top grade team.

Also be aware of the infamous PES scritping. Sometimes if the AI wants you to lose, you will have to right like a tiger and be 3 times better than your opponent just to scrape a draw.

Other than that, I find the (assisted) shooting pretty good in PES. Remember, you dont point in the direction you want, you push up/down after you have powered up the shoot bar in order to direct.

Yes both players can see it

How stupid is that... You would think moving the R3 left or right decides the direction of thye shot. On a side note, how does one do low powerfull shots. I score gaols but very,very soft ones. I love long range shots and it seems it's just not possable in Pes 13 or I probably missing something.

Thanks for your replies guys, it's appreciated. I gather when my mate sends me an invite to play , then he sets up the conditions and stuff.
I know my mate and if there is a way for him to win through cheating somehow, then that is the way he will go.

He played as spurs for two games then paris st germain and finally man city for two games. I went arsenal and chelsea throughout our matches.

LT+Shoot and then just before your player hits the shot, press 'through ball' button.
