M Ace, please help in this: I'll change Eridive for League1 and the PES League for League2. this means that Barcelona, Arsenal, etc will have two teams: the normal one and the AS. no problem so far. But this also means that players like RvP and Messi will be double ingame: at ManUnited and Arsenal, and two times for Barca. but this is the only option. do you see any problems with this?

I'll make a classic player pack for Newcastle in time. Shearer builds are all over the place and Given has a preset face so you got at least 2 faces for Newcastle right now:tongue:

The only problem I see with duplicates in PES2013 is that if you play ML and have computer transfers on, it will be risky that some team with one Messi buys the other Messi and than you got two Messis in that team (wich means they will be unstoppable:D). But if you choose OFF in transfer market when starting a ML the problem would be solved.

I made duplicates in PES 2011 and when playing ML the whole game got messed up with 3 Platinis in one team and two Beckenbauers and soo on!:no:

oh god, I didnt think of that problem. So I'll have to play without transfers at all? if so I think that I might add "*" after the AS players' name. So it would be:
RvP at ManUnited: van Persie
RvP at Arsenal: van Persie*

You can leave them all out... And otherwise there are two options I can think of:

1. You change every ''real'' player in a PESgaming member (For Example: Cassillas at Real Madrid becomes M Ace) there are already formula's for a lot PESgaming members.

2. You make fake players of the ''real'' players (For Example: You rename Van Persie of Man. U with another Dutch name, or you write all the names backwards... so it will be Eisrep Nav)

or what I posted earlier: name the Allstars teams players just like the real ones, but add a "*" after the name (for example Giggs*).

or just give them a more complete name: Leo Messi, Ryan Giggs, Robin van Persie, etc. yep, I'll do exactly this!! as the other players will lso have 2/3 names these ones should to!

problem solved! :D

Just do all the classics with small letters; MESSI vs. Messi or VAN PERSIE vs. van Persie.

In that way you can keep the classic and the current players apart when playing!

I might go with the full name option. and as LordOdo said age and maybe stats give enough points of distinction

which is the max number of characters?

btw your choice might be a good one too. all the players from classic teams have names like "Robin van Persie", while the others will be like "ROBIN VAN PERSIE". it might be the best option in overall.

although the not so pretty visual aspect (some players "bigger" than others) it will probably be the solution.

can I make you jealous? have a look at the difference between PC and PS3:




this should be possible in all platforms!

I think my solution with small and bigger letters are the best option. In a matter of fact I am using it right know to keep edited players and default players apart in my OF!

zeros, exactly what I wanted! :D I'm now editing the FC Porto AS, inserting the faces and stats ingame and I'll try to post something tonight. Difficult, but not impossible.

Let me ask you one thing: I'm going to do 36 teams, average 29 players per team, around 1000 player total. with 36 teams. How are you going to do with all the game? maybe around 10,000 players to edit? You are going to have a lot of work my friend. but my question is: do you have an estimated date for fisnihing the OF? it seems to me that this is going to take so much time that when I finish it PES 2014 will be already out. do you feel like that too?
