like my american football coach used to say all the time, physical errors will happen but mental errors are inexcusable.

so many mental errors tonight. why I tried to square that ball from LCB to the RCB I'll never no (opposition striker stepped in the middle and headed unheeded to goal). I could have arced my dribble to the sideline with ease and looked upfield.

i had my fair share of physical errors as well - watching someone climb on your back for a header goal is painful. Lastly, trying to intercept the ball with a header from a long-bombing goal kick, but pushing forward before the header button results in huge error. I did that twice.

CBs need to always think defensivelyfirst before anything, its a tough position. Felt so good at it the night before

Don't worry everyone has a bad game (or two or in my case more of late), everything is magnified at centre back though.

I'm peeling this plaster quickly. Berry and I continued to play and we're still in D4.

We won a game with just us two playing and needed 1 draw out of 3 games for promotion. We lost all three. You can put all the blame on me, because Berry wanted to leave with one game left, but I convinced him to stay. I appologise and accept any punishment forthcoming.


Probably too honourable a death for me.

That's OK dragonfly, I just got home. I'll go in and play 1 versus nothing less than 6 and see if I can't bring us back up.

No league games if less than three on and even with three, think very carefully. Its the whole reason O? and I were playing cup games on Sunday.

Not to mention the game was also doing everything possible not to let us get that all important point.

We were in control up until HT in every game aswell and then before you know it, the GK messes it up. So annoying.

What I don't get is - one game and you lose, fine leave it alone. Alright two games, you've put us in the shit but have the decency to leave it. But no, blow the third chance instead of learning the lesson.

Did you honestly think we were going to thank you for securing promotion when it was basically guaranteed for tonight anyway? :erm:

Perhaps cup games weren't an option (they're only available on weekends?) but if that's so, just don't play with two.

Three is risky but depends on who is on and how confident they are. If a trio lose two in a row they'll likely stop anyway.

If you're going to play with two, do the cowardly thing and leave at the kit selection unless you're facing another team with just two players.

I'll be back tonight hopefully. If Malaga/Dortmund bombs, I'll probably come on at 9.

We didn't play anyone that had more than 3. We were very unfortunate with our attacks. We had twice the amount of shots as our opponents, apart from one game, against a defensively strong team.

Anyway, no excuse. I definitely won't be doing that again!

But FEAR NOT. Unlike that pussy Derrick Rose, I shall #RETURN tonight and I shall lead this team back to Division 3 and then back to Division 2 and then finally back to the promise land, oh sweet virgin Mary, back to Divison 1.

And then, we shall feast, I said we shall FEAST on the league title.

Remember that the strkiers you're up against might not be great in division 4 but they can't outpace and in some cases out-muscle you. If you're at left-back or right-back, be very careful when passing back inside (CB) and generally look to pass to LDM and LAM (or RDM and RAM).

In the one game I played at LAM with you at LB, I was clear down the wing a few times but you kept turning inside rather than attempting a first time pass. It won't always be on but given how Phats and I play down the sides we're often looking to overload one side and then potentially switch the play. Not so much fun for defenders though.
