I would like to have stayed on after the first four games of division 3 but it was a good idea to start thinking about going to bed.

I went from shite to excellent last night. I mentioned Lanzafame early on and I meant it, my first couple of games were downright pathetic.

The last time we were in division 1 our first season was the best, picking up 18 points. Two more seasons followed until we lost our form and dropped into division 2. Not sure how we ended up in 3 and fully aware of the atrocities that saw us end up in division 4 earlier in the week. Its good to be back.

Thought we played some nice stuff last night and were unfortunate not to walk away with 3 wins. I quite enjoyed playing on the left too.

The [MENTION=117045]pesgaming[/MENTION]Forums one? Tbf it was only really set up, because the official one wasn't being used. When the official one became active, the unofficial one became a bit obsolete and I kinda forgot about it. If you wanna post something, I can PM you the password - I pm'd the password to all the admins when it was set up, but I think that was before you'd returned.

Is there any quick ways to improve my player apart from the obvious of scoring sack full of goals and assists.
I feel like a 40 year old defender and always have to read the game, staying a few yards behind because I'll get exposed if it comes down to pace.
I think my players about 76. Surely the worst in D1. Feel I could make much more of a contribution if my player wasn't so average.
I know I can make him a bit faster if I make him shorter and lighter, but I like how powerful my player is.

There is no quick way - the quick way was boosting offline which they have removed because you could manipulate the in-game slidesr to make the CPU as woat as Joel and score from 50 yards easily. Try some drop-in matches but play in midfield.

Just stop being shite and it'll work out for the best :)

And if you play drop-in matches, play with as few people as possible, otherwise you'll get tackled by your own team-mates.

I feel I should offer Joel an apology on behalf of Bammers... several times last night Joel was making a useful run and I played him in. At least I intended to however my virtual pro considered this a suggestion he pass to Bammers regardless, one occassion passing in completely the opposite direction. I can only assume this was a result of Bammers jedi mind tricks.

I agree though we were incredibly unlucky in the first two we drew 1-1, particularly the second game in which the keeper fumbled a most simple catch to allow it to hit him on the head and go in.

Haha. It happens to me a lot, so no worries. Especially if I'm trying to be so precise with the pass (like Dani Alves to Messi vs PSG) and it ends up just going to the wing or something silly.

We should have won the two that we drew, tbh. But our goalkeeper always seems to have other ideas. I wonder if any other team gets screwed about with their goalkeeper too.

Still, a draw and a win to start the new season. It's a better start than the last one (win and a loss), so let's just try to rack up a winning streak and maybe finally win Division 1.
