4-2-3-1 just creates so many chances, and the majority of them fall from 20 yards so we're getting almost everything on target. Once they fix the glitched pros issue that makes Div 1 unplayable, I think we might give it another go.

I don't know Mak, you must hit that call button at least 10 times per match, every match, most of the time forcing a back pass from the CPU or when you are jammed in tight.

9 times out of ten it helps with building the play. If I see the CPU with the ball in front of me with the ball and no easy pass on I will call for it because I'm more capable of making something happen.
It worked pretty well yesterday dominating midfield and building from the back.

1) You definitely got the rub of the green in our matches, I just kinda gave up by the end. I'm probably beating you overall though.

2) It's NOT just me who gets annoyed at your constant calling for the ball. In fact someone (I won't name him) said something along the lines of "Someone needs to have words with Mak about his constant calling for the ball". Since nobody else seems to have the balls to say it, I did. To be honest, I didn't notice it that much until it was pointed out. Now I notice it all the time.
You do it when you're playing up front too, surrounded by opposition players, AND there have been times where you've done it whilst playing in defence when the keeper is in possession, and end up losing the ball.

When you are playing in defence you get passed to a lot even if you don't call and get put in the shit like you've called, and even in at DMF sometimes, but you wouldn't know this would you having never played in defence or a holding role...?

No, I've beaten you other times, I'm sure of it. I actually think we're about evens.
Am I direct? I don't think I am. In fact I've been accused of being completely the opposite online. Someone said I was boring because I play possession football and that I should play quicker and more direct because that's how it "should" be played. I can fall into the trap of going more direct when I feel I'm not getting the rub of the green, as I did yesterday. Dunno if it was the teams I picked or what.... they didn't really do it for me.
And FYI I've played the holding role plenty of times.

Bish has told him to watch is calling in the PSN chat before. Sometimes you need to call, but Mak, you're calling when sometimes the AI isn't even facing you. Sometimes people are in the clear running and you're calling the ball to be played backwards to you.

You can't just press X everytime the AI has the ball. Survey the situation, realise the position both you and the AI are in and then if it makes sense, press it.

Don't take it as people ganging up on you or anything like that. there's a lot of positives you bring to the game, but you need to just tone down the calling.

I can understand his defensive position given the original delivery of the criticism. If people are going to make a genuine criticism, please do so in a sensible non-confrontational manner so we don't have a couple of pages of bickering.

Never get passed off the park by you if you know what I mean. In clubs though I like playing with you because you are one of the least direct players who'll pass if someone is in a better position and try different things cutting the ball back trying to actually play football and not just how everyone else plays on clubs. One of my downfalls is trying different things building attacks but that's what football games are all about to me.

Most of the time when you call you retain possession/build another attack but defenders have had time to get back into position. Anyway, messaging during open play annoys me more, especially when you have the ball 6 yards out from goal with no one around you.... :wenger:

Mak, if the whole team has a problem with it, the odds are that the issue is there. Just think about when you're calling. Not saying don't call at all. Just saying to think about it.

I know sometimes people are saying things are too rushed with us, but FIFA Clubs does not work like how One on One when you control the whole team works and if people haven't figured that out yet, then they never will. Clubs is more like the Premier League, where you have to act fast or you either lose the ball and the opposition goes up the other end and score or you lose the chance to score. Pretty passes aren't as important as just getting the pass off.

We can all stay on the ball too long at times, so that wasn't aimed at just one person before anyone gets angry and say I'm starting on them. Just think about it.
