I really like the post match highlights too - It reminds me of PES of old.

Playing Full manual seems alot easier until it comes to shooting but that should come with practice.

I've played the PS4 demo now and it plays better, as you'd expect with next gen. However, I'm getting the GK issues that some people have commented on. I don't think I've scored a goal from further than 12 yards out. My GK doesn't perform as well as the CPU, of course.

I hope this isn't as easy to replicate in the final game. I tried it myself last night and failed mostly but came very close with a couple of efforts going just over the bar. On the flip side, if everyone is doing this then it will become easier to counter.

Hmmmm. I played a bit on Sunday and scored a similar goal with Glen Johnson, but in my case the ball was headed clear and I half-volleyed it. On watching the replays it looked like the keeper should have done better.

I think this is more a volley glitch rather than specific to corners. As has been mentioned, they are too overpowered and easy to do (especially with assisted shooting).

I noticed that, when taking a corner, if you select the off-the-ball player you want to pass to (using R3), it's easier to find your man. You have to know how much power to put on the corner kick, but once you get used to it, it helps a lot.

There's a massive market out there for someone to step up and do a proper job on this scene. The only reason I can think of as to why they're not putting in a bigger effort is because they won't make an extra money off it.

But if they really thing about it then they could sell booster packs for filling in the CPU controlled players in the squad. Something like that would work.

On a side note. With all the games getting released these days why is it that aside from the big 2 nobody is taking their hand to try and make a brand new football series? Apart from a few indie titles I can't remember the last football game outside Fifa/PES without going back to Sensible soccer and kickoff 2.

This is exactly the reason why. FUT is as good as printing money for them, so they will always focus their attention on that area.

I watched a YouTube video where a guy was casually talking about spending $100+ on FIFA Points, on day one, before even playing a match. So that's $50-$60 on the game then $100 on FIFA Points. That's nuts!

MSP is Microsoft Point. Used to be MS's currency before they converted over to normal GBP.

If he can afford that with 500k subs, imagine what someone like KSI with 6m is pulling in. Not forgetting promoting coin sellers before every video :shocking:
