I was able to get a free transfer for the fake Australian player Zerkovic (OVR 79 AM) as Wolverhampton for a annual salary of $10,000 and an appearance fee of a measly $1,000 per game. He is young and "still developing" skill-wise and for some odd reason was extremely content (green happy face) with those numbers.

Am I missing something? This seems insane. In real life this would be kidnapping...:)

I understand far from real life in the sense that it can stray from realism. It's entirely another thing when the transfer system is broken, which this inclines to make me believe. This means the code is simply based on the offer of the appearance bonus without regard to the base salary that the percentage comes off of. This means that this 79 AM makes in a year what most college grads in the US make, perhaps even less.
