Can you edit the international tournaments?

Does anybody know of a way to make the "American Cup" which is Copa America and the "African Cup" which is African Cup of Nations have group stage matches? It only allows me to do single elimination matches. Kind of crappy. The two real tournaments have group stages of 4 groups.

You could always set up a Konami Cup tournament in the way you that you want it

YES you can, once your editing you can change the TYPE. I can't recall right now cuz I'm not home but yes there is a way.

What I do is, edit the Konami cup to Copa America with 16 teams, with the world cup rules, then I add all the North and Central America teams. I did the same thing when I started my World Cup qualifiers. I started Konami League with 16 teams and so far it's really fun. Top 7 go to the world cup, 8th place play two games play-off with Asia and and 9th place with Oceania ( New Zealand, always).

African Cup is better because you don't have to add any team from another region making it more realistic, but at the end it's all fantasy and the format I use for American Cup and Qualifiers works for me.
