How the hell do you get a game on xbox live

As the title says spent half an hour the other night trying to get a game on Live and everytime i entered a room it kept telling me that the room no longer existed but it quite clearly did.This happened with every gamertag i tried to get a game with.Any help would be great here.

Hi there, I found that it helps, in both player match and ranked match to narrow down your search options to suit your tastes, eg. length of match, clubs and/or Nationals and Language.

This increases the likelyhood of getting a game online, however you still get the odd "this room doesn't exist anymore".

PS. I'm sick and tired of people being Chelsea all the time, starting to get silly now, variation people, VARIATION!

I have the same problem as well, even when I create a match it takes a long time. Still yet to have a game.

A terrible sin, I know, but I bought FIFA 07 purely because I can't get a game online. It only takes 3-4 seconds to find a match on 07.

I have been a PES player since number 2 right through to 6, but the online system at the moment is just not coping.

ok , i have a very simple solo0ution for your problem , its all to do with your NAT settings , first go to your xbox connection settings and do the test , at the bottomn it will say NAT and it will eithere be open,moderate or high , PES requires it to be OPEN , to do this you need to go into your ROUTER settings and put the ip of your xbox on the DMZ , which is basically removing your xbox from the router firewall and granting your xbox easy access to anybody who wants to play you, i had the same problem and now that ive put it on the dmz i get games instantely. i hope this helps , if you have any questions contact me , i no some people dont like messig with router settings but it takes about 2 minutes to do , and let me say online play on pes IS THE DOGS hehe

I hope your solution works, I just played 2 games with the normal settings had me trying for hours!

Really Konami should have got this to work for the average xbox live user, rather than those who know which settings to tweak etc .. or at least put it in the manual.

Sorry your theory is wrong mine is open on the settings and still i can't get a game
