I have played both Fifa and Pro evo and i think pro evo is still better than fifa and was just wondering what other peoples view on this was ?
Pro evo 6 or Fifa 07

Well, Fifa is always going to be the inferior game in terms of gameplay but not licensing. I still think PES Looks a lot more smooth and has much better animations etc. Even though Fifa kits are sponsored,they always look blurred which is irritating as edited PES kits always look so shiny and perfect. With the next gen versions though, you've got PES 6 with all the awesome PES gameplay and a few features missing, or FIfa with all the usual Fifa gameplay with almost all the leagues missing, only has 7. I no PES dnt have a lot of leagues either, but they make up for it with gameplay, what's Fifa doing to make up for it except charging you for each additional league.
I've played both and to be totally honest i don't see any game being superior to the other. They both are similar in my eyes. Shooting seems to be bad on both games (for me anyways) Graphics on both games are great. I have been a keen pes man for around 3 years now so im being totally honest when i say i may get FIFA07 when i eventually get the 360!
I don't see PES really taking over again till PES7 when we shall hopefully get the best PES to date.

well ive played both, as I own both,
FIFA 07 isnt brilliant but I hate to say its 10X better than PES6 never though id say that, infact Pes6 is that poor it hasnt been out of its box in a week, fifa has got me gripped and on the edge of my seat,
which is something pes6 just hasnt been able to do this time round.
I cant believe you can actually get a 0-0 in fifa now gone are the days of the 7-5 scorelines.
this game has im afraid suppassed pes6
and you couldnt get a more unbiast opinion as i have always been 110% pes fan and hated fifa
times change
and so has fifa (for the better)

FIFA FANBOY, i would prob agree, but ive gotte give pro evo good chance, would it still be the case if pes had its editmode, i find that fifa should have a best before date

pes6 shooting spoils the gameplay unless you like trying to hit the top of the stadium.
what do these game testers get paid for I know its tough to get a shot in pes6 but testers must of had a enough shosts to realize the shooting system is terrible just a quick tap and the power bar is maxed out

You can place it and you can score great goals. When i first got PES6 my opinions on the shooting where the same as yours but you learn to adapt to the new system and now i think it is superb, very realistic.
good thread,it was only so long before someone decided too make this.the critics of shooting are simply bad at the game,they cant score and so criticise.i have said this in countless threads but il say it again,
unlike fifa in pes you cant shoot from anywhere with anyone and hit tthe target or jus miss,you cant shoot as equally with a players bad foot as to there good foot,and if the players body position isnt suitable for a shot then dont shoot,it is simply based on real physics. so,be on a good angle,have a good body position,try to use there better foot,judge the power,do ypu need to use the rt?and shoot.jeez.i score from miles out,from close up,score belters,tap ins ect.. i no longer sky it,not often anyways,because i no wen not too shoot!!!!
the only thing that pisses me of with shootin is when i am through,i power the shot up and expect a blast but becuase im shoulder too shoulder with a defender they do that annoying,pathetic toe poke,but tthat is all!!

Same here mate, thats the only thing i find annoying with the shooting system.

I have, lots of times, I see lots of people complaining bout the shooting, but i got used to it straight away, been firing in plenty of long rangers. As for Mr.Fifa, fair enuf, you like that better if you want, but in terms of GAMEPLAY PES 6 is still streaks ahead. You sound kinda like all the Games mags like Gamesmaster, "Oh FIFA 07 best yet, could be better than PES." Then you get more pro mags like Edge sayin that Fifa 07= Small improvement but still a major let down as always.
