Training mode - Anyone managed to do this one right?

When you do training, choose the intermediate level, then shooting, the third from top (kind of a shot where the ball falls down quickly). You have to push square at the right moment (just before the ball hits the ground for the second time).
Perhaps it's me and I'm really doing something wrong, but I didn't manage to get that type of shot right...and I tried long enough, I can tell ya....
Tried Eto'o, Roni, Messi, etc.
If anyone could explain how to do this (please don't tell me just to follow the ingame instructions, they're crappy ), I'd be grateful!
Thanks!
Peace

Try experimenting a little with Super Cancel (R1+R2 held together) so you strike the ball with different speeds, different shots, and different heights of the ball.

The differences in shot will most of the time be minor, but can be critical.

Yeah, I noticed that there are big differences if you change the angle from where you shoot the ball (R1+R2). Trajectory can be a lot different even though the shot itself ressembles...
But did you try precisely the type of shot I was talking about? It's something like a special shot....Didn't manage to get it right yet...Anyone?

I've just tried it out and I managed to do it by not moving at first and then running at it at full speed and hitting it just after it has bounced.

what you do is - Run towards the ball, hold down square and release it just as the ball is about to bouse up.

Basically you want to hit the ball when it's on the ground. So that way it'll swurve downwards since before you kicked it the ball was heading down.

Ermm.. Sort of like Joe Cole's goal against Sweden in the world cup.

It's awkward to pull off that's for sure. I recommend using the record/playback feature so that it will take you to just before you boot the ball, this'll save you having to re-position yourself after failure. You can try it for ages and not score, but don't worry about not scoring just worry about pulling it off correctly. It does help though because in a match the ball was scuffed up very, very high in the air, 40 yards out with Tim Cahill and I just had to wait for the thing to come down, it seemed to take a lifetime so had plenty of time to judge it, and then.. BOOM! On the volley, dipping pile driver into the top right corner of the goal leaving the keeper no chance. It is probably my most favourite goal ever. So the technique is certainly worth practicing.

ok this is how you do it.

when you press shoot you must release the shoot button just before the ball hits the ground,so remeber its not shoot before it hits the ground but release before it hits the ground so obviously you will have to press shoot a little earlyer.
