My friends are Vale fans and fail miserably everytime. I've been challenged to take over as Vale, with five seasons to get htem into the Premiership.

Transfer budget is £20k.

Once I finish my Stoke season, I'll give it a go I think. Even thoguh tehy're dirty soap-dodging bastards. So, any good players, uber cheap then let me know. Also, the creamof the loan market would be class. Danny Haynes on-loan is tempting, but so are Marco Bertolina and Mateusz Ceiluch. But yeah, uber cheap, perferably free, players and loan stars who wil join anyone.

Cheers!

I've just started a game with Varzim (portuguese 2nd league) and I bought João Coimbra (offensive midfielder) from Benfica for 7k and he has been doing pretty well, scoring 4 goals in two matches. If you need a striker, just try Pedrinho from Varzim, an AMR with stats that are far more appropriate for a forward. I can't give you any advice on signing players on loan as all the players I tried rejected my team.

I've started a new game with my local team (Hucknall Town) who have a budget of about £6,000 and a couple thousand for wages.

It's relatively easy actually, raid the free transfer market and you can build yourself a decent team. You have to wait a season before some good'uns become available on frees but when they do, promotion is certain.

First season was re-building, 3 successive promotions later and I'm 4th in League 1.

The chairman is willing to listen to offers, I wonder if a takeover will result in more dollahs.

The ground is 5,000 in capacity with 500 seated (lol), I will strive to get it into the Prem without change.

I've gotten in some amazing players, I love them all.

Erm, Ronaldinho? ;) There's a guy that plays for Welling that's a decent striker whose name escapes me. His finishing is 16 though so he should be easy to find.

In my second season with River I won Apertura, Clausura (unbeaten), Sudamericana, Libertadores and Recopa. I want to chage to Europe (Milan, Liverpool and Man Utd were availables) but then I decided to stay one more season and then go.
Falcao and Higuain are truly legends.
Gonzalo Higuain got: in 39 matches, 28 goals, 10 assists and 7 MOTM.
And Radamel Falcao got: in 39 matches, 24 goals, 10 assists and 7 MOTM.
Also Wagner, a younf AMF from Cruzeiro, got: in 47 matches, 12 goals, 25 assists and 5 MOTM. Really recommendable, I got him for €6.25M.

In some big transfers in Europe, things like these happened:
Xabi Alonso go to Chelsea for €47.5M
Per Mertesacker go to Chelsea for €45.5M
Kaka go to Barcelona for €59M
Ivan Gattuso go to Barcelona for €20.5M
Mikael Essien go to Milan for €31.5M
Joaquin go to Milan for €31.5M
Fernando Torres go to Inter for €43M

And some more.

Started the 3rd season and Im doing pretty awesome. 11 victories and 1 draw in 12 matches in the league. The bad news are that Higuain is injured for 5 months  But I have good strikers as backups. Won over Boca again  and Im going to get the 4th consecutive title in the league. Also Im in Quarter Finals in Sudamericana and maybe I will win again for 3rd consecutive time.

I tried getting Falcao, but I saw David Villa had a buy out-clause for 35m. Now Falcao is with the orange-pickers, and I've got Messi/Ronaldinho/Eto'o/Villa/Dos Santos up front :ninja:
