I get "Communication Error" message when trying to set up a user account :(

if you have any type of mode chip installed in your device DNAS will detect it, you'll need to boroow a unit from a friend or something, i used my nephew's and created an account. and now i'm playing online on mine :)

Haven't you heard? DNAS can be bypassed. :D

I've made backups (of original games that I own) and they all work online.

I know how to patch discID, but that's not helping...
still can't register from modified PS2.

Seems i need an origianl machine too...

If it's a chipped console then that might be true which is why I'd always recommend using Swap Magic as your modding solution.

Communication error

Communication error is what I get.
Facts:
I'm in the U.S.
I play winning eleven pes 2007
I have a PS2 slim
I connect directly to the modem, to avoid all the router problems.
I have a broadband connection
My provider says my modem is working perfectly.
I connect to the konami server, it verifies me, and I even have a screen that says "Welcome..blahblah...YOu are connected...enjoy the game, then, right after that, when I tried to register I get the communication error"
Konami says it is because of "time for connection expired" or something like that...but i dOn't know, there is nothing I can do..And I tried many things already. DId anybody went throw this already?
suggestions welcome. Konami tech support doesn't help at all.

edit: sorted now, to fix this problem, just alter the time and date on your ps2 configuration screen.
