HI GUys

I have a new system on the way, spec as below:

Processor (CPU)
INTEL® PENTIUM® D 945 (2 X 3.4GHz) 800MHz FSB/2 x 2MB L2 Cache

Memory (RAM)
2048 MB CORSAIR DDR2 667MHz - LIFETIME WARRANTY! (2x1GB)

Motherboard
ASUS® P5ND2 SE: DUAL DDR2, S-ATA, x16 VGA, 2 PCI/3 PCI-E

Operating System
WINDOWS® VISTA Home Premium (inc Genuine CD & License) (£70)

Memory - 1st Hard Disk
320GB SERIAL ATA II HARD DRIVE WITH 8MB CACHE (7200rpm)

Graphics Card
512MB GEFORCE 7300GS (256MB SMA) PCI Express + DVI + TV-OUT

Will this run PES6 comfortably do you think?

All advice appreciated - oh, and I know about the vista vertical sync troubles, hopefully this will eventually be rectified with an SP tho.

You might have problems with Vista compatibility but from a hardware point of view you will have no trouble at all.

Very surprised you're getting a new system which doesn't have a Conroe processor. The D945 may have a higher clock speed than an E6300 but the 6300 will outperform the D945 and with price drops scheduled for April 22, there's really no reason not to be buying a Conroe machine (or processor if putting all the components together yourself).

PES 6 has compatibility issues with Windows Vista.

If you are gonna be using it for PES6 then you might as well as stick with XP SP2. I think PES6 mite work in Vista if u have a XP computer with PES6 on and copy all the files from the pes6 directory and move it to the Vista machine. It worked for me when i wanted to play FM07
