And when they rip you of is each september, when they release the same exact bullshit fut game with a different menu color scheme and you suckers run to buy it.

The ONE thing ea did right was the world cup games. They were amazing and worth the money. But now you and your bipolar buddy over there are surprised I won't buy bullshit fut 18 just for some 32-team tournament I can already play in PES? No qualifiers no teams no nothing?! Me and many others were waiting for this game 4 years so I will "whine" all I want.

Also, microtransactions are another issue, and we have to think how free that content really is. FUT stuff? It's even worse than gambling. That's where they really rip off their customers, not on a World Cup game like 2010 or 2014.

I'm not a fanboy either. I like PES a lot, but I also enjoy FIFA. Both games have pros and cons.

To be fair, not all of the 32 national teams ARE in FIFA usually, and even less than that are fully licensed, so it's definitely an upgrade however you want to spin it. Of course, the mode could always be more comprehensive but personally I would rather have a 32 team world cup for free than pay £40 for ANOTHER copy of FIFA with just national teams. As for FUT, what can I say. If you're dumb enough to get sucked in by that crap then that's your problem. I disagree with those methods of making money (which Konami exploit as well) but you can always just not play those modes. Luckily I come from an era of gaming (80's) that didn't have online rubbish so I don't even take notice of that stuff.

Overall, I'm ecstatic to get the World Cup DLC for free, just as I was when Konami issued the Euro 16 DLC.

As I said, I play both games and am also an adult with a life, so I don't suckle the tit of either EA or Konami and I certainly don't waste my time or money playing kiddy crap like FUT or MyClub.

You see, when people don't act like little children (maybe you are, I have no idea) they tend to be able to look at things objectively. Looking at this instance I can tell you that FIFA's free DLC with a couple of extra teams and broadcasting package is more than enough to portray the world cup. If you would happily pay another £40 just so you could get Papa New Guineau into the world cup through qualifying, then shit out of luck this time I'm afraid. That said, you can do that with PES if you want anyway, so why are you moaning?

Also, looking at it objectively, Konami also serve up, pretty much, the same old game (with worse menus and modes) every season and we all still lap that up as well. To try and paint EA as bad and Konami as some sort of white knight is disengenious. Both of them want you're money and that's about it. You do realise you don't HAVE to play FUT, don't you?

You're rudeness in your response just demonstrates your immaturity. You'll get over it one day I'm sure. Enjoy playing your games mate, don't concern yourself with which 'side' you feel you need to be on.

You got all outraged (idk why as you claim not to be in love with ea) and damn nearly crapped yourself defending the dlc. Don't be rude and people probably won't be rude to you.

The dlc may do enough to portray the World Cup FINAL tournament, but they have the licence and ability to portray all international football. And after they did so for many years, this is a huge let down. Why ANOTHER 40? It's just 40 or whatever every 4 years! You all get your stupid yearly edition, but the game we get once every four years gets rejected without warning and suddenly I am a child for complaining about it?! If you are so happy with that dlc, go anticipate it and rob one out to the artwork or something, don't be a prick to those who got screwed and are rightfully pissed.

I like national football more than club, so this game was huge for me. I guess you never played a real world cup game, otherwise you'd know it's worth every penny. I don't give a crap about online either. All i want is to recreate the world of football. Yes, with the Papua New Guinea, not Brazil. And Luxembourg, not England. Congo vs Gabon instead of France vs Spain. And EA ruined it. So that they can get more people to buy fut 18 and get sucked into the microtransactions. Ok, so even if you don't play it why do you buy their game? What's different about 18 in comparison to 17?! Yeah, you don't have to play FUT, but fut is what ruined the rest of their game. The gameplay is alright (pes is a ltittle better), but the modes and other important things are shit! And they do nothing to change it. Did you know in NHL one can download whatever squad files they like for offline? So you can have any player you want. They could easily put that in fifa. But no. Make more than 3 save slots. But no. Get the brazilian mess sorted out. But no. Let people use the legends. But no. They stripped the game of everything cool and focused on online/fut. FIFA 2005, 09, 11 - how much cool shit was there! Now is a couple of basic game modes and that's it. And once they cut the game off the servers you can't even unlock shit. I could go on and on. That's why i am super pissed they atleast didn't make their little dlc self-sufficient. Because I will be damned if I buy their vile game again.

This is the first PES I played and it's a breath of fresh air and I am glad there is an alternative to ea. But you can't play qualifiers in PES. They have very complex structures. Plus, for example, where would I get licenced Netherlands Antilles from? All this has been explained on the fifa forums a million times, and the same goes for the world cup in the link I provided. It's all there. But you can't or don't want to wrap your head around what we are saying. You just jump to some corporation's defence (ironically calling me "fanboy" in the process). If that's not true then what are you bitching about?

How do you suppose I play the game on playstation without buying it? :hmm: What I am saying is if there was a way to do that I surely would, because i am not "loyal" to some company, like that idiot was claiming I am.
