I create my kits with an image editing software called paint.net. It's much easier to learn than photoshop and you can create decent things with it. Also, to preview them on PC before importing it on PS4 I use a model in Blender.

Yes, thats all for now :) For the Auckland kits I posted recently the closest template wasn't close enough so I made minor tweaks in photo editor 3D before calling them finished. I also take kits from better creators and add club badges and sponsors. For example PESMaster doesnt have the latest macron or Umbro GK as templates. So I took PESuniverse kits and added the sponsors/emblems to make "my own".

It works for me, but I'd like to get better at using GIMP/photoshop etc!

PESMaster Kit Creator is actually pretty good, of course there are limitations on what you can do but it's nonetheless a powerful tool. I used it a lot in the past when I was starting learning to do kits, nowadays not so much, and since I don't have the "Gold"/"premium" version so the template selection is quite small for me.

I then started grabbing a few "blank" kit templates from the internet and started messing around in paint.net to see what I could do and how it worked. It only took practice (paint.net is not that hard to learn, the most useful tip I can give you is to work with layers, put every design/logo in a different layer so you can easily move them around, remove, edit, and later easily re-use the template. This is valid not only for paint.net, but also for GIMP/Photoshop etc). Then I found out I could preview my kits in PC before exporting them to PS4 which is a tremendous help. I don't know the most basic thing about blender, but I used a model I found here in the forums just to preview the kits, and I have been using the same model since PES 2018 now (still works fine).

Anyone able to create the A.C. Milan kit with black shorts and socks cannot seem to find it anywhere and i am absolutely terrible with the kiy creator. Thank you in advance

The PESfutebol link for the PES2020 OF doesn’t work. I could start from scratch but will be a pain!

I just want the players to make as free agents.
