is your laptop a hp 8440p by any chance bcos it has the max resolution of 1366*768.

the game may be slow if the game doesn't run in full screen mode, this is probably because your laptop resolution doesn't match with the settings you configure in kitserver. so if it is not playing in full screen mode, you can try setting the kitserver resolution to match that of your laptop...

it works with or without compatibility mode settings, and not even running as administrator, tried all these combinations, mine is 64 bit windows 7, with the kitserver settings it works finally for me.

i couldn't install the xp drivers, so not sure but you should give it a try. you should share the screenshots of config.exe and manager.exe so that i can verify.

@chrispaok4 have you installed the pesedit patch ? if yes, which version? have you configured kitserver exactly as instructed? can you attach screenshots of kitserver "config.exe" and "manager.exe"?

guys, good news, finally got it working thanks to some instructions i found in some non-english forums. doesn't necessarily need xp driver installation. Note (important): i haven't tested this with a normal kitserver but it may work without the pesedit patch. This should also work for pesedit...
