guys i had the same problem and after i installed pesedit patch im able to play anything without crashes(exibiton,champions league match etc.)

guys, good news, finally got it working thanks to some instructions i found in some non-english forums. doesn't necessarily need xp driver installation.
Note (important): i haven't tested this with a normal kitserver but it may work without the pesedit patch. This should also work for pesedit patch version 1.1 since I have used version 1.1. The steps from the other forum are given below. if someone has pesedit patch version 1.0 or version 1.1 installed, make changes to kitserver directly. If someone has not installed either of these patches and have installed kitserver directly, you might want to try making changes to kitserver directly without the patch installation.
The steps are as follows (translated by google):
1) Turning to the solution, in particular should first download the patch PESEDIT 1.0. of the page

2) proceed to install, so the game will stay updated and corrected names. Anyway the important thing here is kitserver program execution and modification of certain parameters.
3) After the installation of patch 1.0 PESEDIT where we installed it, usually at: "Program Files / KONAMI / Pro Evolution Soccer .... 2012/Kitserver"
enter this last directory now
4) run 'config.exe' and set following values EXACTLY as shown below:
Aspect ratio correction Enable: AUTOMATIC
Custom Enforce Resolution: 1280 x 720
Enforce Picture Quality: HIGH
5) click SAVE.
6) Now run 'Manager.exe' and you ensure that kitserver is attached to "pes2012.exe". If not attach it. If the pesedit patch 1.0 or 1.1 is installed, kitserver is already attached to "pes2012.exe"
Game executable: pes2012.exe.
Kitserver attached to this exe .....
7) "DO NOT FORGET ALL run, you must Run as administrator" will not work.
8) Well, with these touch ups you should be able to play full and with the highest definition possible and excellent FPS of this

Additional Note:
The changes in kitserver "config.exe" file seems to have done the trick for me.
Follow instructions as given above, for e.g.
'Enable Aspect Ratio Correction' of "Automatic",
'Enable custom resolution' of "1280*720" and
'Enforce picture quality' of "High". ["Medium" also worked but "Low" didn't]
It should work for everyone now.

problem remains
the problem remains...everytime i go to play all the game modes,except the training the game is not responding...only the training runs corrextly.!! any ideas?

i reinstalled the game.now i have the original game 1.0,but i can only play training.!! i did what you say with the patch but nothing...
still problem...
patrick thanks for these instructions,but for me they are not working...i downloaded the patch version pesedit 1.0 and 1.1(from isohunt).i did the nessesary changes to config exe but nothing...this time when i go exhibition the screen is freazing....i downloaded and 1.2 patch but again nothing...i have win7 32bit ultimate and compatibility xp s/p1,2,3...i run it with this and adminstirator but again nothing...Also i want to ask you i saw a post that you told about a save file...i downloaded an put in konami...i can play c.l and copa libertadores only but no exhibition and i cant make changes to squad...when i go to make appears a problem same when creating avatar...maybe if download xp driver i should fix???i want you help guys...also i have graphics card: intel mobile 4 series express chipset family...thanks in advance...

i couldn't install the xp drivers, so not sure but you should give it a try.
you should share the screenshots of config.exe and manager.exe so that i can verify.

dude this is deleted from me yesterday...all was right...config with right changes and manager.exe told that kitserver attached...but didnt work...so dude i will download xp drivers but i want to answer you if you run tha game with compatibility of other OS...and you run as admin right?also i play now with the save.bin file but why i cant make changes to the squad rotation...i hope konami will solve this problem...What is your OS?maybe depends on different bits???so it didnt work for me cuz i have 32 and you 64...its strange that you can play match and you cant enter exhibition...Konami wtf>>>

it works with or without compatibility mode settings, and not even running as administrator, tried all these combinations, mine is 64 bit windows 7, with the kitserver settings it works finally for me.

the problem is that when i go to run without administrator right i click on pes.exe and nothing happen(the game not starts)i dont know why...i used compatibility xp sp2/3 vista sp 2 but only with admin rights...maybe kits settings is only for you pc....you lucky man...its unfair for us because we cant play pes and the reason is strange and inexplicable...i forgot to ask you...you play now with the save.bin file and changes or only with kitserver changes??

:O dude i fixed it...i put kitserver and all with amdin right and all changes..but the game is slow in replays and lag sometimes cuz i must tick medium picture quality...how i can tick low and play well???i can play exhibition but with many lag on replays...i tried to other pc and you can tick low quality but from settings.exe...what do you think

i am no longer using the old 'save.bin' or "edit.bin' or 'option.bin' files, started from scratch with the new settings once i was able to get it working. you might want to backup "documents and settings...\konami\pro evolution soccer 2012", delete the folder and start PES configuration from scratch.
you might want to lower the machine resolution to 800*600 or 1024*768 or probably 1280*720 and see if that makes any difference.

gr8 news, i dont' believe it will ever work for us with low settings unless Konami fixes the possible bug or someone does extensive testing and finds some other combination of settings. So, for now either try disabling replays using the patches available that allows you do disable replays or try playing around with the 'lod config' settings under kitserver 'config.exe' and set the slider to minmum for replay related settings (referee and players are the only ones).
thanks for suggestions...i want to believe that we will can play with low settings...can you share a link about a patch which disables replays???
