Extract all the files form AFS files.. Don't just use the big AFS file. This message comes when ur updates need more space.

Well.. try reinstalling the game.. This might help.

If you're under Windows XP, change your PES.exe compatibilty to "Win 98/ME".

Well... The solution is:- Right click your "pes.exe" file and click properties, and under the compatibility tab check the option "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".. and in the combo box below select "Windows 98/Windows Me" Have fun ;)

Well.. I think patches make things even wrose, the best way it to play version 1.0.

sculp666 Just install the game and if you have Windows XP, set "pes.exe" compatibility to "Windows 98/ME" play at resolution 640*480 and high details.. and ENJOY the smoothnes ;)

Again... the original version is better than the latest patched one.. The new patch isn't even worth the download time... It doesn't force the refresh rate to 60hz which makes the game NOT smooth.. It makes more slowdowns in medium/high details at any resolution while you can play high...

Well.. sinman, the cracked exe doesn't have anything to do with game speed anyways.. The news is "I was wrong about Konami will not release a new patch, the DID it" So, Who tried the patch? Tell us your results please I'm downloading but I'm home (56K modem), 30 mins untill downloading...

You must have the Original CD inserted in ur CD Drive

Well, man.. for ur specs.. Just install the game. Force refresh rate to 60HZ. VSync Always On. If you've windows XP set compatibility to (windows 98/ME). If you've a GIGA-BYTE MAYA then you better get the drivers from www.giga-byte.com You mayalso try the tweaked drivers www.tweakers.net...

Well.. What's ur PC specs. AndrewC ? Get a geforce 4 ti 4XXX or higher and P4 2.6 and play at the highest resolutions/details with no problems.. Anyways, if you don't like the 60HZ.. then apply the official patch and play at 120HZ if you like.. but the game will not be smooth like in 60HZ...
