What's probably sadder is that I treat my cat more like a dog. Possibly because at time he behaves like one. He's far too loyal for one. Behaves like a dog too. Sit, stay, down, out etc. understands and responds to all. If he want's his litter changing he'll sit on the mat at the front door & meow (read scream). In over 18 years he's never not used his tray. Smart cat. Almost too smart :hmm:
Don't talk to me about ill cats :no: Mine is over 18 years old and has been on medication for a thyroid problem for about 8 of those. The fact the tablets can cause excess bile (nice watery vomit on the floor is such a pleasure when you've nothing on your feet!), is just an added bonus. We really have to watch his weight too. He's really skinny and can't put weight on, not helped by him being 'sensitive' to rich/fatty foods due to the advanced years of his digestive system.

Not slept well for the last few nights and have had my mental faculties (or what's left of them) drained today during an audit by our main customer. They are okay, but the whole paper chase and justification/corrective actions process is just tiring.
