They are really easy to replace the sticks.

I had the same problem. Basically couldn't play FIFA anymore with it because it would be changing me to super defensive or offensive. This fixed it. All you need is a bit of tape and a Philips screw driver 7cnXHaHw1qA

My sticks are still like new even though I've hammered them. On the 360 I had rubber wearing off them because of playing so many football games. There's an easy fix for the analogue stick interfering with D pad btw. I had that problem with one of mine.
